OK, so here’s the actual proper RUNS of the stream, which had some opportunities to meet new friends. If by “friends” we mean “people who are trying hard to kill Zagreus even though he is a very good boy.” I did really well against Asterius, all things considered, IMHO! But he still got me in the end. Which is fine. I honestly expected to die more often on this stream because I was trying to go for lore vs. power. But mostly a bit of lore, some talking about family relationships and people in the real world as well as in the game, and appreciating that Zagreus is the most adorable boy.
When did I start caring about gameplay and mechanics? I dunno. But I have been really having fun playing this game in addition to uncovering all the stuff there is to uncover…

So, something you should keep in mind – if you imbed an enemy with cast, they will take INCREASED damage from you until they shake it loose, which is real handy for bosses.
Though I guess using that with Asterius would be like a red flag to him, huh.
Edit: yeah – your comments re. family and lack of validation can be… Something that brings up a lot of feelings. I don't have to cut myself off from them, but I do have to admit that there are some things my parents don't respect my feelings about, that I feel pretty strongly about as well. It's hard accepting it.
