Good run, but should've gone with Artemis for Deadly Flourish, Exit Wounds, another Artemis secondary boon, and Fully Loaded, then gone for Poseidon instead of Aphro and gone for Mirage Shot

As a newer player to the game I love the educational bits and also the great gameplay
I personally prefer Phalanx build over Mirage build for Poseidon. I'm not sure exactly why, it just feels right to me.
Exit Wounds is pretty much a must-have for this Aspect, and it is a component of Fully Loaded so I always try to go for it. If I fail to get the legendary then at least I still have Exit Wounds.

Are there ways to improve the chances of getting exit wounds with Poseidon’s aspect? I never seem to get it in Tartarus…
I think if you're playing casually (i.e. not comparing yourself to other people / competing for speedrun/heat records), using Give Up to "restart" a run is a very nice tactic to use when starting out, fishing for clear messages, or meeting personal heat/speed goals. It's helpful to know exactly what you're starting with (could just "give up" in first chamber), which makes it easier to start with keepsakes like Mom Pom or Coin Purse instead of a god's, plus it gives you unlimited tries on a seed with a really good start (e.g. an Epic Boon even with RI 1 and AP2 on for high heat).

(My first reaction to learning you had to reset your save for speedruns was "wait so why wouldn't you just copy a save after doing 100% and then keep that one and slot it back in periodically?" which is basically what you do except you didn't bother to do the 100% yourself lol)

I got a Phalanx shot Posseidon build the other day by chance and it was my first 32 heat sword win

question: how does the hypersprint/rush relivery combo work with weapons that stop moving during their dash attack? like the bow for example. is the speed buff still factoring in when you dash strike even if it stop you from moving or does it only work when you are moving ?

How exactly does the god pool work with keepsakes/purging pools, do the gods just accumulate with every boon of theirs you take or is it more complicated than that
