Mandatory Redemption Arc | Hades #25

Today I thought I’d play Hades given that every time I open my Steam library I am guilted into looking at it with all of its many shiny video game awards and its many shiny reviews, so here it is.

  1. Hi Mr streamer,
So something interesting is that a lot of people have 2 gifts, at relationship 1 and 7/10

Even dear old dad has a gift at a high enoughrelationship

  2. bro, give your nectar bottles away to people already… they all have 10 hearts to fill with gifts, there's no point in stockpiling them.
And you can use your gems too.

  3. To answer the question you've asked now in a few runs regarding why you would ever not take a trial room; Duo Boons cannot appear in them. So if you met all the requirements for a Duo Boon, and your choices were one of the two gods you needed by themselves, or the trial chamber, you would want to choose the individual god. Also, when at higher heat and the game has a time limit, you might avoid the trial rooms as they take quite a while longer than normal rooms.
With regard to Crystal Beam, by itself it is absolutely useless. If you want to make it viable, you would need to pick a weapon aspect that gives cast damage (e.g. Achilles spear), then specifically aim for the Artemis/Demeter duo boon that makes it so much better. It's super fun if you get that tho.

  4. Before you go, Achilles and Thanatos are both in the house for you to give Nectar to. Thanatos is in the hallway with Achilles but at the bottom left corner.

You can go to the shop in the lounge, the big green ghost in a cubicle, to trade Gems for Keys. You have plenty of gems and can fully unlock the mirror this way.

  5. You can trade gems for keys at the merchant. You mentioned it at the beginning of the episode but immediately forgot lol.
Also, Thanatos is to the left of Achilles sometimes near that locked door you keep trying to open.
Check the merchant for the limited time offer after or before every run because sometimes there are really good deals.
You can trade up at the merchant to get more titan blood. Gems>Keys>Nectar>Diamond>Ambrosia>Blood

  6. I dunno, it kinda feels pretty inefficient to make a run only for the chance to get 1 titan blood. I think being too conservative with the heat is biting you in the butt Mr.Creamer_2, you could've been getting WAY more diamonds going just a little wild with the curses.

  7. Eris is my favourite gun aspect. It combos well with a bunch of hammer upgrades. Uh, and you can take the special that does more damage but hurts you, just so long as you dash out as it explodes. I won with that build, it was pretty dumb
