Meg’s Secret Backstory Reveals The REAL Reason Hades Kept Her “Trapped”
Hades had to be one of the most charismatic villains in all of Disney history, which is probably why he was so likable despite being such a bad guy. In fact, several times throughout Hercules, it almost seemed like Hades wasn’t the actual villain at all, but instead was simply a misunderstood and mistreated sibling to the more powerful Gods. Interestingly enough, there’s actually a theory that claims Hades was the true hero of Hercules. And to make things even crazier, this theory also implies that the dark God of the Underworld had a secret motive for taking Meg’s soul that actually makes a lot of sense.

Hades is my favorite God and Disney Villain
it hades was such a good guy why release the titans
GREAT VIDEO DELUXE DISNEY'S MEG BACKSTORY.
I love Disney Hercules it was one of my favorite Disney movies growing up
Hades was definitely the best part about
Yes I could see how he would be a good guy
Meg is my favorite woman Disney character that not a Disney princess
But dang she should be
Plus Hades is the only god that did his job
i agree with most of this except one aspect..: Hades Freeing the Titans from Tartarus/Tartaros.. if he wanted to keep the Gods and Herc in check, therefore keeping the world Below safe, Why release the Titans at all? all that would have done is end the lives of Millions if not Billions of people thus sending countless more souls down to the underworld for Hades to torment. Yes Zeus would have died in the Titan attack. But the Titans would have killed EVERYONE ON EARTH if not reined in. Hades would not have been able to keep the Titans under his control forever nor does he have the power to send them back by himself. He is certainly NOT the good guy by any means
That's quite an interesting theory, I never thought about it like that but my favourite story in Greek mythology is of Hades and Persephone falling in love. He kidnapped her and took her to the underworld, worried that she might become homesick since her mother is responsible for keeping the world alive with harvest, he had beautiful gardens built for her.
not sure 🤔 but my guess is probably both the villain 🦹♀️ and the hero 🦸♀️ of the story 😉
Actually, it was Hiura that threw the Smithy God off of mass Olympus when she saw him, although Zeus was a philanderer, who couldn’t keep it in his chiton
My favorite god in Greek mythology is Hypnos the god of sleep he has great stories and I do love hades in Disney’s Hercules but they should’ve really be Achilles because that was Hercules Greek name
My favorite Disney villain is the shadow man from the princess and the frog😅
i feel bad for hades and meg both got the short end of the stick meg got hurt when her ex broke her heart and hades just wanted to keep things balanced
I still think it's disrespectful to Hades from the story and none of what is seen in this video justifies hades breaking the titans out of Tartarus
nno
Interesting
In Greekolgy Hades is actually a good guy. Zeus did more horrible and disgusting things than what Hades did
4:29 *younger brother. Zeus is the youngest of his siblings. Hades, Poseidon, Hestia, Demeter and Hera (yes, that Hera) are all older than him.
