Ya know, it's really nice to see that Hecate is not telling Melinoe to go like avenge her family or something like that, she just basically tells her that Chronos is a threat to all and that it doesn't matter how she feels about Chronos as long as she sees that Chronos must be stopped
I tell you what. The first game was very tongue in cheek, even flippant in the best ways. But THIS writing is so well executed. Not just this clip but every interaction is so thoughtful whilst maintaining that cheek from before. Perfection.
I do appreciate that they are having Melinoe acknowledge that she doesn't know the full story. It makes Nemesis's comment about Chronos's return being a form of karmic justice for the Olymlpians' cruel rule all the more poignant.
Like, yeah, Chronos is a total P.O.S. , but 90% of the Olympians are literally no better. Arguibly worse even. You could argue that they're just mad that they're on the recieeving end.
The only unjust thing hwre tho is that Hades and his family are chiefly the ones suffering. The Olympians are still kind of living large. Relatively safe from Chronos's wrath at the moment.
So no rage is a good thing. I’ve gotta remember that.

Melinoe's character schism of dogma vs. her own actual feelings is exactly what I was looking for. She doesn't know the full story, and neither do we.
