Lawrence I've been seeing you play and the only advice and I am sure you know this you got to keep moving man!
Congratulations Lawrence!
That game is so damn good. Great show Lawrence! I did it in 38 runs but who's counting 😉
Lawdog… Took me 17 runs for my first escape… You're the quintessential gamer…. To quote james:"have you ever seen super man bleed?"
9:23 you killed yourself there. Took me forever to figure out that the urns wont explode on their own.
Give the exagryph a try, there's a mod for the special that allows it to fire straight instead of lobbed that's a gamechanger. Got my first win in 30mins with it 🙂
You can reflect Theseus' spear back at him.
Nice kill on that boss. Seemed intense
After the first clear I found the game became far easier. The knowledge you have of fight mechanics and what does and doesn't work comes together so well. Learning how to "craft" builds as you move forward is such a great sense of progression, you feel wholly rewarded when you scrape together a win even when RNG dicks you down.
Hades is spectacular.
Just my personal preference but if i find myself relying on my cast a whole lot in a build (even if I didn't plan to), I prefer using the regen bloodstone passive instead of the 3 bloodstones passive.
If I'm gonna spam cast a lot sometimes I end up taking unnecessary damage trying to pick up the bloodstones.
However if I do plan a cast build before starting a run, I get the Hermes legendary boon along the way that recalls them back to me instantly. Just a thought.
Idk man that's uhhhhh alot of attempts. Love you Lawrence but I did it in 5. U gotta turn that heat up and keep going bro I believe in you.
lol, i'm sorry Law, you're awesome, but you've got to play this game a bit more and think about what you're doing. Many of your complaints during combat come from either not fully being familiar with the game (complaining about isometric view) or just not fully understanding mechanics. Keep playing and eventually something will click and you'll start breezing through until you up the heat levels high.
you just not hitting hades when he was like 3 hits away from death and prioritizing the urns had me hella anxious, congrats lawdog
Watching him run through traps hurts my soul.
