Poisiden kept watch over the water, ares ruled the army and zues was king. Anyway zues creates the human race to harvest prayers to give them immortality. The more you prayed the more powerful they became. And hades seeing how zues his brother kept becoming fixated on his creation. So hades vowed to find a human who wasn't so kind hearted and twisted his heart. And as zues saw his creation take life for the first time he was so angry with hades and punished him. By making him a prisoner in tarterus. But areas with the help of his fallen gods the titans. Broke free and washed the earth with evil. But really zues handed ares a throne on witch he could rule his own heaven to keep humanity in check. To fear the gods. Hades was set on earth 2 times. First his kraken and then the war with the gods of witch the old gods died and Romans new gods rose

In greek mythos, zeus and hades have no actual hate towards each other and they don't fight, the reason hades is in the underworld is because he chooses to do so, he literally was like you know what it is to much drama on Olympus and this family is way too insane so I would just go rule the underworld in peace.
