  1. They obviously stopped doing final visual inspection and just pushed whatever they had out the door. Junk or not.

I've got 4000 of the junk! Gonna wait and see if the quality actually comes back before I buy any more.

  2. A 34 grain JSB HADES in 25 cal would be freaking awesome especially in my LCS. It absolutely loves FX 34 grain pellets and with the heavier weight they do not get pushed around as much by the wind and have better accuracy at longer distances when the moment requires. Softer lead would also be nice so they could open at lower speeds like in the UK with sub 12 guns that are basically just shooting a diabolo at those speeds. They just don't expand until you push them faster like 900 fps…from my experience.

  3. YESSSS!!!!!! .22 Hades Monsters! Been asking for them! These are going to be great for hunting on the smaller permissions where ranges are sub 100 yards and slugs just carry too far to be safe to shoot.

  4. It would be nice if JSB would go back to producing decent .177 diablo pellets like they used to in former years as recently they have been awful. Useless down range BC and too shallow in the back and low in the head (more like a flying saucer than a dome which is more stable and aerodynamic) and short on length. Absolutely useless for HFT.

Demand over the last few years is not an excuse for poor pellet design. In recent years we have had more and more issues finding a good die, but now it seems impossible to find a decent batch, let alone an outstanding one.

I think half the issue is the people at JSB who are making them no longer care as long as they are selling pellets. But for us competitors, who probably shoot a heck of a lot more than plinkers and hunters, a decent pellet can make the difference between winning a comp/season or being an also ran. Check any of the current top shooters on the circuit, whether HFT or FT and I can guarantee they are using batches from 5+ years ago when standards were higher and JSB were interested.

Many of the pellets we are getting through from JSB at the mo are incapable of one holing at 25y let alone tight grouping or clover leafing at 45-55y. And that should be just as important, if not more so for hunters!!

I do hope JSB are back on the case, but recent history and batch testing does not fill me with hope. I feel like the competition community has been abandoned. If JSB want to get in touch with me to chat, I am more than willing to show them the difference between a good pellet form from a few years back and what they are producing now!

  5. Thanks Steve ! I've ALWAYS wanted to see you do a video on pellets and how they're made. I look forward to watching it now. EDIT : Gonna watch the JSB factory tour video.
My Gawd that's a LOT of pellets ! It's pretty cool to hear that the (stupid, lame, messed up) pandemic created a huge demand. Air guns are WAY more fun than powder burners, to ME.

  7. I really hope they catch up on supply of the Predator GTO's. My favorite pellet for both my Pcp's. Fast, accurate & better for the environment. Tune your gun, if you can, to make them fly @ 880fps and you'll be smiling!
