๐Ÿค” NEW HERE? ๐Ÿค”
Hi! My name is Christopher Odd, and Iโ€™ve been playing video games online for a few years. I really enjoy a variety of games but generally lean towards games with a unique and engaging story (Bioshock, The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us, etc), strategy/roguelike games (XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, Darkest Dungeon, etc.), and RPGs (Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Dragon Age, etc). Of course, I am always looking for great indie games, too!

  1. Hey! Thanks for watching the series! Loving the game so far. Regarding all of the comments about skipping dialogue…I hear you…but hear me too, because even though I explain it, people still write "I don't get why you're skipping the dialogue, it's all voice acted, etc"
I've only been skipping non essential, routine stuff. If that bothers you…sorry.
That said, apparently this has rubbed some people the wrong way because even though there is an hour of content in every video, the vast majority of recent comments are about this. So after the NEXT part, Iโ€™ll stop skipping dialogue, even if itโ€™s repetitive or not adding to the story. My ask is, if you were routinely leaving comments about skipping dialogue, please continue to leave comments about other things now that itโ€™s addressed. Fair?
    Thanks for watching!

  2. Just a small insight. You dont need to run around and break every vase, they are all empty, just there for the flavour. Only the golden ones contain extra gold. ๐Ÿ˜€

About the arcanas: The one that gives rerolls. Until you get to use difficulty modifiers and start using extremely specified builds, you wont really need to use these rerolls, so you could grab another more useful arcana instead.

And by the way, very nice first try run for the surface area! Big GG! ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. The surface felt a lot easier to me compared to the underworld. There is still a lot more content hidden in the early access that will reveal itself as you keep playing. Death to Chronos!

  4. Zag: โ€œI am forced to fight past my father everytime I wish to see my mother, and even then I can only be on the surface for MAYBE a couple minutes before the Styx takes me back. This is a curse I am stuck with and there is no respite.โ€
Mel: Throws some funny ingredients into a pot
    Zag: โ€œare you shitting me-โ€œ

  5. Interesting that you find the special of the axe good. I actually really dislike the special and almost never use it. The omega attack though… that's a whole different story. It's my favorite weapon just for the omega attack

  7. Been a while, congratulations on beating the surface on your first try. I feel like I have not that many more tips to give, so this is a short one, now that you've unlocked the surface, the cat no longer hangs out at the Erebus fountain room, you can instead, find her in the dock before you get on the rift of thessaly officially, she's not always there, but you still gotta look around and pet the cat everytime you're there or we riot.

Oh I should just point out that the arcana card does NOT say 30% for rare "or better". It's rare specifically, so it's a lot worse than you might imagine, considering it costs 5 grasp…

  8. 25:00 Just to point out, that "random" pickup you had earlier wasn't a random thing, it was +1 towards the count of that element, the 5 you have.

The +2 bones you picked up was because you have the weapon that give you that for the night.

  9. Awesome first run on the surface! I struggled to beat Polyphemus, much less Eris.

Please consider buying Nectar from the Wretched Broker and gifting it to people whom you've not yet gifted anything to. Fill out your heirloom chest!

  10. Polyphemus is the cyclop Odysseus blinded (by gouging is eye). As the cyclop is a son of Poseidon, Odysseus was cursed by the god of war to never find his home, and spent ten years before he returned home from the Trojan war (not sur of the english name for all of those). I wonder what the dialog will be if you do this figth with a poseidon boon.
