Learn how to style Nyx’s crazy hair wing while also making it removable for travel!
Disclaimer: These techniques are for heat-resistant wigs; not human hair!
Heat tools info: We normally recommend working between 300-350°F with Arda Classic fibers (or 200-250°F for Silky) and wearing gloves for higher temperatures. If not using gloves, use a lower range you can handle. When using irons on areas where hairspray is present, lower settings are recommended.
Ponytail tip: Since styrofoam mannequin heads can be smaller than human head sizes, we recommend padding up your wig head or using a canvas head matching your head size when securing styles into updos and ponytails.
Glue tips: Tacky glue dries clear and is flexible. You can also tidy it with water if it gets messy! Hot glue takes extra care to avoid mess, but it cures fast and is waterproof. E6000 is very strong, but it is advised to use in a ventilated space. If you use styrofoam instead of expanding foam, do not use E6000 because it will melt the foam.
