  3. Loved the video! Only thing i would ask is there a chance you can turn up game dialogue volume? It was kind hard to hear them without turning volume so high that your own voice was too loud.

  5. I wish the game's audio can be a bit higher. Not that I dont like hearing you talk, Skyen, but I have hearing troubles and I had to adjust the volume between your dialogue and the game's.

  6. I’m a huge fan of mythologies and hearing someone else geeking out over greek stuff made my day. You’ve earned yourself a sub bud

(also I had to look up who Frank Miller was XD)

  7. On the comment about Hades and the Western interpretation of Hell.

I'm no mythology expert, but I think I recall the whole idea of the way god Hades is kind of vilified by the gods of Olympus, and also having drawn the short straw to watch over the underworld as well. If I had to do a super boring job and tick names off a list for all eternity, all by my lonesome I'd probably start to think I was in Hell. LOL

Edit: It's not quite Hell, I don't think it's portrayed that way, but it would be interesting I think that the Gods themselves see it as a dreary place with a dreary job that no one wants to HAVE to do.

  8. Important to note that with the whole back gods thing another argument there is that the greeks didn't really think of the gods as gods of greece, they knew them as gods of the world that greeks happened to believe in, and in some cases saw other religions pantheons as mutations of the same gods

  9. If I can offer very tepid complaint (as in I don't really mind too much, the thought just crossed my mind) :
I understand that you mean well when saying that Achilles is "suuuuuuper gay", perhaps as a way to show support of it, but I dunno it kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Like he's not "suuuuper gay", he just had a male lover. I don't think straight people are "suuuuper straight" just for having a partner of the other sex.
I don't even think you'll see this since this video is old-ish haha, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

  10. I have a friend who dislikes that some of the gods aren’t white. He thinks it’s “pandering”.
So I will say, I’m so glad for your take on the gods designs, because it’s the exact time of logic I took on it.

  11. Okay man your commentary is amazing i love your prospective on mythology I'm also Greek the fact that you take the time to explain small details not a lot of people do that you have a sub in me man

  12. 13:40– I would say foreshadowing, but damn it all it is small moments like this that makes me love following TB Skyen. Had I not played Hades, I would be shocked and laughing at the same time from this revelation.

  13. Anyone else notice that Achilles talks about Ares the way someone might talk about an ex boyfriend? Lmao he’s so bitter “I have nothing good to say about this man he’s terrible”
And then whenever we see Ares he’s like “you’re doing so great!!!! Keep going! I believe in you! I’m so proud of you!!!”
