If it helps any, when you use the shield and you get into Meg’s room, you can charge the dash move to simply shield the incoming attacks or release it to dash through the attacks that come your way with the shield protecting you.
I also like using the shield for the long enduring runs, but the downside is that it is hard to shield from things when you’re in ranged combat hordes
But they are not as hot as you Joe.
