  1. I mean, it's not just 20% damage. Bolts can bounce between targets back and forth. And them being able to go through you means they strike an enemy several times in a 1 on 1 situation.

  2. interestingly, in the well right before the fields, that chaos gate could have also acted as a psuedo-reroll. It doesn't take up a chamber, so go to chaos if the door isn't cooperating and see a new option there.

  3. This video actually got me to start up Hades 2 again, hadn't played since June. It's fun, and got me my first 16 fear surface run, first try, pretty easily, without losing a DD. It's nice that you don't really need to max out poms like this for it to be really strong, I think mine was only like 50 dmg by the end so it didn't dominate the damage chart so heavily, also bc it meshed really well with aphrodite attacks.

  4. Master conductor is strong because of the bounces and the fact that it can bounce to you in a 1v1 scenario, so it can proc on an enemy 3 times. Here's the math:

Per strike, there are a total of 5 instances of static shock procs:
    1. On hit, if the base damage of static shock is X, then the end damage of static shock is X*2.05, 2.05 being strength+furies+origination
    2. Then it bounces to you, or the first bounce B1, where the damage increases to X*2.25
    3. B2 has it bounce to enemy, where damage increases to X*2.45
    4. B3 bounces to you, and B4 bounces to enemy again, where the damage for B4 is X*2.85

So in a 1v1 scenario, static shock on it's own deals 2.05*X damage since it cannot bounce to anywhere else, but with master conductor since it can bounce to you, it deals 2.05*X + 2.45*X + 2.85*X, or 7.35*X damage, a 3.5 times increase per static shock damage; alternatively with no strength, origination, or furies it is X vs 4.2X or a 4.2 times damage increase.

This is why master conductor is incredibly transformative as a duo boon, as it is at bare minumum giving you an equivalent of 20% damage increase + 100% crit chance on your chain lightning. These are kind of the best case numbers as full 1v1 situations are only possible against bosses, but this is still a really strong duo boon if you have a weapon that can take full advantage of rapid strikes.
