► Hades 1.0 Full Release Story Synopsis

Hades is a god-like rogue-like dungeon crawler that combines the best aspects of Supergiant’s critically acclaimed titles, including the fast-paced action of Bastion, the rich atmosphere and depth of Transistor, and the character-driven storytelling of Pyre.

As the immortal Prince of the Underworld, you’ll wield the powers and mythic weapons of Olympus to break free from the clutches of the god of the dead himself, while growing stronger and unraveling more of the story with each unique escape attempt.

  1. I'm not sure if you noticed, but when you give a Nectar to Bouldy, you get a buff (check your equipped boons) called 'Heart of Stone'. Each time you get this buff, there are a few different effects it can provide :).

You can always give Bouldy a Nectar for that buff. Weigh that with how much Nectar you want to save, if that's your plan!

Glad you had a good time with the Rail's Special! For some weapons and builds, the Special may not always be high-impact. But the Rail is unique in that its special is such a good source of damage even before hammer upgrades!

  2. Rail once was my 2nd least favorite weapon as well, but thanks to its hidden aspect it became my 1st favorite weapon ,so yeah try hunt that you might ending up liking it.
Stubborn defiance isn't that bad and you can always use lucky tooth to increase your chances for survival as well.
Bouldy is unique unlike others it exchanges a nectar for a Bouldy boon for that run,so ask yourself first is that run worth it? do you have hard time dealing with enemies or are you breezing through?
And i see you perfectly caught a fish in this video nice! and remember you can rely on audio cues if visual cues are not that helpful for you.

  3. Bouldy gives you a small boon when you give him nectar, you can see it in your boon list. Like 3% damage or something along those lines, changes a bit I think. Probably not worth it at this point, unless you really need every edge you can get.

  4. Probably right about what Nyx and Meg were discussing, it was either Zag or the fact she has to work with her sisters again because of the pact of punishment. And good job going back to also get that other conversation with Meg 😀

  5. Welonz, you are becoming Lambentplumeholic.
The only way to treat it is to use sword set to aspect of zagreus.
Thats because after that, you will never be that fast again!

If you want a powerful boon in a specific slot, for example a powerful attack boon, dont wait for it. Pick the first that pops up. Replacing boons makes the replacement better, so you can "groom" your attack to be stronger if you replaced a few boons on the path to the one you want!

  6. With the plume, I want to see Hermes MORE, because of the speed=bonus damage boon. I had that at epic combined with epic move speed. 30% lambent MS + 40% boon MS = 70% bonus damage, super strong. There's also the MS + dodge chance after using a call boon. You pretty much dodge everything when combined with a powered up plume.

  7. I kind of feel bad for Hades at this point; I actually want to see him put one on the board every now and again. Maybe Zag should line up some bets and take a dive? This one-sided stuff is bad for morale.

  8. I like how there's so much optimization you can do for this, finding the right combinations and synergies of everything, and steering the randomness in your favor. it's like you're always learning new things.

  9. 47:00 What Patroclus means when he says noone could be on every god's good side is, in the war of Troy when he lived, gods ended up aligning themselves with one of the two sides so whichever side people were fighting on, there would be a god determined to make their life hell at a whim – it's interesting to think of that way

  10. I'm surprised no one tells you: you actually have no backstab damage, due to Fiery Presence being selected at the mirror. You contiously repeat "Get them from behind", but it has no effect at the moment ^^"
The only Backstab Damage you got are from Exposed (which mean chosing Athena every time if you want some)
