β–Ί Hades 1.0 Full Release Story Synopsis

Hades is a god-like rogue-like dungeon crawler that combines the best aspects of Supergiant’s critically acclaimed titles, including the fast-paced action of Bastion, the rich atmosphere and depth of Transistor, and the character-driven storytelling of Pyre.

As the immortal Prince of the Underworld, you’ll wield the powers and mythic weapons of Olympus to break free from the clutches of the god of the dead himself, while growing stronger and unraveling more of the story with each unique escape attempt.

  1. Just my humble opinion, but you should start considering leveling up your other keepsakes. I know you love to go fast, but there is sooo much potential aside from lambent plume that will help on higher heats. Just saying.

  2. Hmmm. Judging by one of the conversations you had during this run, you're on the verge of unlocking the penultimate Aspect. Hell, there's a distinct possibility you could unlock both of them in the next couple of episodes, since you've met the prerequisites with both of the NPCs who can give you the waking phrases.

  3. You know, it occurs to me, I think you got quite a bit faster after you first started using Lambent Plume. If you want to get better at avoiding damage, maybe use the Pierced Butterfly some more? Especially on any run where you're using both Damage Control and Calisthenics Program, because I'm pretty sure the combination was slowing you down a lot.

  4. No, why? Patrocolus has provided you with insurance, positive outlook, something something for the rest of your run. I would have played much more defensive knowing that I am hanging on just by a thread. So this run he was a solid wall behind your vulnerable back, haha. Thanks for the video, twas thrilling, full of sorrows and threats and one happy win! I didn't finish watching it yet though.

  5. I love the idea that Megaera had that convo with you in the Lounge, knowing full well that Thanatos was in Zag's bedroom at that exact moment, and didn't let on a single thing about it. XD

  6. You're probably not gonna see this, so I may post it again in a newer vid, but two things you may want to consider πŸ™‚

    1) Even though you tend to avoid Athena's Call because you consider it 'a defensive call', there are times when it'll allow you to do more damage than another god's call. In this run, with your high base damage, I think you'd actually do MORE damage using Athena's call than Poseidon's. Think of all that free attacking you can do while invulnerable πŸ™‚

    2) Reminder to bring Lucky Tooth with you on your first conversation with Hermes in a run! πŸ™‚

  7. 1. LambentPlume becomes increasingly useless at higher heats, since almost all options slow you down (other than TightDeadline). BrokenSpearpoint and even the purse would be more useful. Or even better first the purse and then the Spearpoint.
    2. When comparing boons you do not seem to quite understand that you lose the boon that is being replaced. In this case, getting the boon that gives you +120% damage on your Special, replacing a +70% damage on your Special, is the same as if you would get a boon with +50% damage on your Special. Meh. Not horrible but not great either.

  8. Best possible outcome: polyamorous relationship with Dusa, Meg, and Than. They seem like they all bounce off each other nicely and keep each other from going too crazy.

Also I have a suspicion about why Dusa's so sensitive about her body. There is a myth about a gorgon that got beheaded as a trophy and that gorgon's life was absolutely filled with curses and getting screwed over by gods.
