“Out of Tartarus” is a personal favorite from the Hades soundtrack. The first time I heard this one it excited my music nerd brain: the frequent time signature shifts/generally irregular meter was a really fun challenge to decipher and notate for the band to be able to play this while also providing a bit of a unique spin on the tune. In discussing our album with journalists, I’ve often stated that this is a standout on the record as it’s likely the closest this group has gotten to making metal- considering that we’re a jazz fusion band, that feels like a fun achievement!

We’re incredibly grateful for the support we’ve seen on our album so far- thank you to everyone who has checked it out! In the first week we’ve already seen streaming and sales numbers that greatly exceed what I anticipated, and that’s a really cool and special feeling.
