  1. I love how everyone is impressed with this gimmick. It was used in another game called Lobotomy Corporation (And its direct sequel). Also, back in the 2000's, I had to fight the "Time Devil" in Blinx: The Time Sweeper. That fella was able to pause, slow, accelerate and "record" time in its final boss fight… Gosh I miss that game.

  2. This is so silly. Stoping time on the final boss of the game, who is you know, the god of time. And the fact that you have to go get a thing to allow you to use the pause button and he still mocks you for it is hilarious. The characterization and writing in this series always blows me away.

  3. I know I might be in the minority but I actually hate that the game would take away your ability to pause. For some players that's a necessity for accessibility reasons, and those players are forced to win without that accessibility in order to "earn" it. Its a surprising disrespect of players' time I didn't expect from Supergiant. Everything else about the game is brilliant of course.

  4. This, unironically also gives you more power over Chronous then any of the other Gods that legit would give you an advantage in ta fight with him they could use.

This one joke, actually proves why Melinoe is reasonable the only one who can legit fight him properly.

You can just annoy him to death by using his own ability against him.

  5. He also negates the effect of any time slowing abilities you may have, such as the arcana card providing slowdown during Omega charging or the Moon Hex which slows time, exclusively for himself. Everything else still moves slowly.
