  3. Hello good sir (sorry i can't write your name i don't know why YouTube problem). The axe is actually the key to the most damaging build in the game i know because me and some other of my friends are experimenting with the building, finding some good ones, and releasing them through the internet. You just have to get two hammers, one to Chanel the spine faster and another to spine more than slap Aphrodite on the spine and that's it. you might get lucky and get a due boon but nothing else you might really need

  10. If you want to pick certain gods, you use their keepsakes to do just that.

    Hades 2 doesn't put as much focus on just getting big damage from boons, but instead focuses on creatively using all your tools to get that damage.
    For instance, constantly using your regular cast while using the axe, gives you stationary targets that are easy to dodge. There's a lot of very good boons and things that you're not even trying to use.

    Completely different play styles though, I admit. I don't really vibe with the daggers as much, but the axe is by FAR the best weapon IMO. Huge AOE, big damage potential with almost any set up, and a great moveset. Once you unlock the aspects, the axe becomes godly

  12. Loving the Hades 2 content! I don’t want to distract you from it as well but have you ever tried Astral Ascent??? It’s been getting some crazy major updates recently and has quickly become my new fav! It takes a lot of inspiration from Hades and Dead Cells but plays as more of an ‘anime fight’ rogue like imo! It’s also got some really good features behind the loot drops that helps give a really nice mix of choice and random for build crafting!!! Would love to see you try out the game at some point or give it another whirl if you tried it in the past, as I can attest it’s changed a lot and has a much better feel now! 🙂 Cheers and excited to see your reactions to the surface and it’s bosses 👀

  13. The axe is my go to weapon, this just felt like you cucked yourself not being able to see what the rooms offered and also got a ton of resources instead of boons/hammer. I don't feel like you can blame a weapon when your run just sucked.

  15. You had a really bad build. Axe can be the craziest weapon in the game when built properly imo.
    1. Start with the Aphrodite charm so you can immediately get her attack boon. All spin2win damage is close range, so this 100+% damage buff immediately is HUGE. You're immediately doing 1000 base damage per full charge with 0 other upgrades.
    2. Prioritize attack hammers. Unyeilding slash, and Psychic whirlwind are my personal top two. However, concentrated whirlwind, and furious whirlwind are good as well. (Executioners chop is INSANE as well especially if you have crit)
    3. Crit makes the build 10x better. Bring artemis charm on the second stage so you can secure some passive crit. (Thanatos aspect is free crit up to 20% and makes the build insane)
    4. This goes for any run. Get the boon influencing charms and USE them. They significantly reduce RNG.

  16. Wondering why Mythy wants to instakill everything? like the one positive to this game is its difficulty, and he spends the literal entire video crying that he isnt one shotting everything.

    Also, hes using only one of his attacks. His others are hugggeeee damage with this weapon but he just auto attacks or spins and whines about it. def a skill issue
