Raise A Nectar For Hades – The Game I'd Die Again and Again For

Hades is a roguelike action game by Supergiant Games. You play as Zagreus, son of Hades, who’s attempting to escape from the depths of Hades to the surface to finally meet his mother. In the game you can obtain items called Nectar, which you can gift to various characters to increase affinity with them, unlocking extra dialogue and more. Nectar is the drink of the Gods and is the subject of today’s episode.

Nectar (2 servings):
– 1oz/30ml Lemon Juice
– 1oz/30ml Orange Juice
– 1oz/30ml Honey Syrup
– 1oz/30ml Dry Curacao
– 2oz/60ml Orange Vodka
– Pinch of Star Anise Powder

Recipe:
1. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker.
2. Add ice and shake for 12 seconds.
3. Double strain into a glass bottle or two coupes.

Honey Simple Syrup:
– 200g Raw Honey
– 100g Warm (not boiling) Water

Recipe:
1. Add ingredients to a mixing glass.
2. Stir until the honey is diluted.
3. Strain into a glass bottle and store in the fridge. Keeps for 2 weeks in the fridge.
