  1. On Born Gain. I have an idea. I don’t know if it’s stupid or not.
But what about making it 25(common), 20(rare), 15(epic), 10(heroic) but make it so you can’t pom it?

Any ideas if this makes it to weak? Or is it still two strong?

  2. 28:09 not really since max magic still means you can use more magic till your percentages are primed, so for example, if born gain locked 10% magic instead of 10 magic, then for 100 total magic you have 550 effective magic to use, but for 200 magic (so 20 magic is primed) you have effectively 1100 total magic, a clean double from 100 max magic and meaning max magic would still be worth it.

  3. I remember this one Awful Run I had where RNG was Bending me Over Pretty Damn Hard…. And then Right at the Very End I got this exact Duo Boon and Destroyed Chronos With It…. 👀

I wish this Game was more Consistent.

  4. For born gain, I think making it prime as much mana you use rather than restoring to full. You'd eventually run out if your pool isn't big enough, or possibly in boss fights.

  5. You could try one run wity Hephie's infusion(?-?) that makes you deal minimum 30 damage and then pair it up with low damaging but high hitting boons like demeters cast etc sounds fun in my head only tho 😂. Still another build I was waiting for you to do loved the vid

  6. Born again just needs higher numbers – it's the mana stacking boon (so probably good with Hephaestus). I do wonder if the current common might be stronger than a balanced epic?

  7. For Born gain what i would like is that the value of primed magick got tripled and it could be reduced by 1 for certain elements (rock, fire, water cosmos and crazy ).They are underusing the infusion elements in my opinion, they could add it in common boons as a requirement to get an extra ability, and you could do it for a for caps like , if you have 5 do extra or per each, the infusion boons are not reliable to get but this way you could give the better boon so long as the player looked for the effect and made certain sacrifices.

  8. Quick brain nugget on born gain nerf: have it reduce CURRENT max magic by a % when charging puts you over that limit, and if the cost is more than the NEW limit, fizzle the omega move.

so say it was 50% loss (really garbo unrealistic number, only an example) on running out of magic and you had 100 max magic, the first magic bar would put you down to 50 max, and the second would put you to 25 max, half of 50. While you had 50 max magick, if you charged a 30 magick omega move while having 3 magick remaining, your max would tick over to 25 and the attack would fizzle.

Realistically the ideal nerf might just be making moves that cause magick to be primed fizzle instead of go through anyway, meaning you still have "infinite" magick but your moves are cancelled by each reset.

  9. Il just leave the Nerfing of Born Gain to the Actual Developers…. No point in Pretending like I know what I'm Talking About when I don't ….

But if I did get a Say in the Matter…. I would just leave it as Is. The Other Magic Regens Work (to varying degrees of effectiveness) so I don't go out of my Way to have Born Gain Specifically. 👀

  10. Talked about it before on this channel, but Born Gain is fine. It's whole thing is high risk/high reward. If you don't invest in enough max mana, you WILL run out of mana and your build will be dead in the water. I had a Than run where I took maybe 1 or 2 mana upgrades and my Omega wound up around 60+ per. By the time I hit Chronos pt2, I only had enough mana for like 2 hits.

Unlike the others that DO have infinite mana, Hera's has a limit, it's just that it takes a really high mp-usage build to hit it. The others need buffs because right now the main reason people take Born Gain is that it just feels better to not constantly be waiting for your mana to come back between hits. Literally just making every other gain boon regen while attacking would make all the difference

  11. unrelated to the video but do you guys know any builds for the skull? ive been trying to play it but it feels pretty hard to get it to work, or maybe im just dumb lol but any advice would be helpful

  12. My Born Gain nerf suggestion is to have the prime persist until the next fountain. Works thematically for Hera (think 'commitment'), requires strategizing, and prevents you from gaming the Vow where you start a chamber with no magic

  13. Born Gain just needs to have the numbers upped drastically. You could legit make it prime 30 at common, 26 at rare, 23 at epic and 20 at heroic and it would still be a great magic regen boon, but it would still be a benefit to grab max magic.

  14. Born gains problem isnt actually its nearly infinite mana as other boons easily compare in terms of regen. The 'OP' part of born gain from what i can tell is it forgos the interruption of an empty mana bar like the others do because you have to stop channeling for it to start regen.

The thing is I actually think the other mana boons need to be buffed/altered to always provide the regen, unless the idea is that we have to calculate magick usage, however I find this arbitrary slow down to be a less fun mechanic.

Overall nerf the numbers of born gain sure, but IMHO they need to look at how it feels to play with some/most of the other regen mechanics as they simply dont feel good.

  15. Perma primed magick on Born Gain would make it instantly F tier unless you changed the numbers to be Common: 4 or something

Maybe semi-permanently primed and resets on getting to a new Biome/Zone? That could be a lot more workable IMO

I think one thing that I haven't seen people talk about for Born Gain is that you can still use magick above what you currently have, it'll just prime in the middle and then use the remaining afterwards (so like here, if Dan has 10 remaining but uses a 20 on the spin, then 10 gets used, then whatever gets primed, and from the new limit another 10 gets used).

This is basically the same as Magick Regen while you're still channeling your Magick which almost no one else other than Poseidon really allows you to do. That's what makes Born Gain really really really OP in my opinion, instead of just plain really OP

  16. So many spin hammers and yet every single time I've used Than aspect I have only ever been offered the successive hits do 2+ damage one, which is a bit crap. Always get the others on my Chiron aspect runs.

  17. Born gain could be permanent and then reset each floor instead of each encounter? Seems more balanced. When I first read the boon I assumed it was gonna be completely permanent and not the most broken gain in the game lmao.

  18. I’m still a little salty that the combination of being buried at work and your voice half sounding serious actually tricked me into you thinking that you didn’t know about FORG

  19. For the chat you mentioned about the Axe not increasing critical chance for each hit of an omega move, it seemed like after i got it to rank 5 that it started doing that to me. It has done that every run i've used it since

  20. Making born gain % won't make mana rewards useless, as you still get more casts per bar. It would basically make it the same as increase mana by 3x or something.

  21. I think born gain's numbers are fine, however I think it should not be pommable and they could either add a short time after depleting your bar before regaining it or they should reduce all mana regen and make it constant. The torch for example feels really bad with any other regen. One other thing is that born gain is basically the only mana regen boon that benefits from a higher mana amount and that doesn't feel right
