THE DAY HAS FINALLY COME – I’ve been promising this video for so long, but kept putting it off because new H&P retellings kept coming out and I told myself “after THIS ONE I’ll film it”… repeatedly. So here we are! The video is UP, the books are RANKED, Madeline Miller has CONFIRMED her own H&P story that I am ridiculously excited out. I hope you have fun on the journey from the Fields of Elysium to the Pits of Tartarus!

Happy Holi🤗🖐 🕉 to everyone🖐
You need to read The Thief of Spring! It’s a Hades and Persephone retelling but it’s them as Fae! It’s so good I highly recommend!
Nice subject matter. I agreed some with your take on the Chokshi book…even though, I am generally a Chokshi fan as well…love her Gilded Wolves Trilogy. Sort of in this realm…what are your opinions/views on Kerri Maniscalco's , "Kingdom of the Wicked"?
I was listening to your video while on the job and It was a little challenging holding my excitement. I wanted to yell, "Fuck yes!!! You got it, girl!"
I actually could recommend Punderworld. Both Hades and Persephone are presented as two awkward individuals getting misadventures aaaaaand maybe falling in love. The story does contain a drop of hot sauce but lots of sugar, with some comedy sprinkles. And does have some pretty sweet illustrations. Makes for a good quick read on a boring Sunday afternoon with your favorite reading snack and beverage.
