I like the joke at the start xD
I've found focusing the minotaur first makes the fight far easier. Just be sure to keep a wall in between you and Theseus and you should be good. Athena's blessings also come in clutch with deflect. Dash deflect is possibly my favorite boon.
Is this game worth? Im trying rouge likes but the only one that stuck to me is EtG

The reason why you had an extra death defiance is because your Lucky tooth got upgraded to lvl 2, giving you back its lvl 2 effect (reviving you at 75hp instad of 50)
Hutts: I am the captain now.
Focus on asterius and kill him first. Utilize dash strike more often as it is really powerful on some builds and always grab rupture if you have posidon boons and it has some serious dps.
So chambers are each new room. Encounters are chambers with enemies to fight. Also, I'd recommend focusing the Minotaur. It's always easier for me, as Theseus will spam God AoEs. Loving these videos, Hutts!
Ah yes, just like in Skul, you need to "Grind".
Honestly you just need to take your time, the game doesn't punish you for playing slowly, nor does it reward you for playing faster, try and figure things out, what you like, get basic knowledge of what each god does so you can start to plan builds, and most importantly don't forget to spread the nectar around for everyone so you get lots of keepsakes.
Also focus the minotaur unless you want pain

Encounters = rooms with enemies
Champers = any room
Casts get better with mirror upgrades and offer alot of utilty even if they are slightly weak to begin with
If you fight asterious in the mini boss encounter he will have less hp in the boss fight but you will still need to fight him.
In the third stage boss fight always focus asterious (the minotaur) first. Before thesus goes to half health and uses the god effect its easy to dodge his spear throw as you kill asterious.
There are infact multiple hydras that you can fight and each one has a different effect similar to the weaker hydra heads in the boss fight.
The boon that upgraded all your new boons to epic was a duo boon of posiden and dionysus. Most gods have a duo boon of some kinda and they vary in power and obtainabillity.
The hammer gives a weapon specific upgrade.
When choosing between two gods the one you dont choose will give a different battlefield effect you have to deal with but if you live you will always get both boons
When swapping boons the boons will upgrade in tier but keep the level, normal -> rare -> epic -> heroic
The bull is always easier to focus since he follows you around. Theseus prefers standing back and hiding behind his shield. Plus getting the bull down makes the fight significantly easier since you are not busy running around. That way you can focus on dodging the speakers.

he needs to get over his aversion to casting it's one of the most powerful tactical advantages you can get. there are mirror upgrades to do more damage to people with it stuck in them you can add on all kinds of effects or even have it recharge on it's own so you don't have to pick it back up (but reduces to a single cast) I use it all the time if for no other reason then to make my other attacks do more damage.
he hasn't figured out this game is really well balanced and doesn't really have any useless abilities.
Just dont dodge the mini boss and theseus wont be there
