The one thing that I have never seen anyone talked about concerning this scene is the fact that he could not know in any way what gender that kraken was because had it been female the Medusa head would not have worked as it can only turn males to Stone. And no one told him that the kraken was male everyone just assumed it would work for no other reason than it be monster😂
