The thing that pisses me off about doom eternal was it felt like they didn’t want you to just move as fast as possible. I hated running for a second and then you stop running. Also no ADS and other movement stuff I wanna zoom around nonstop and not run outta bullets
If true how is modern day bioware and ea going to screw it up? What changes are they going to make to the story and content wise that they feel doesn't fit today's sensibilities?
Are they going to actually include all of the stuff that was actually on the disk but they never finished because it was rushed out? Content that the restored content mod on PC but back in.
If a kotor remake would have came out 5 to 10 years ago I would be a little less concerned.

Like you Henry, I've never played KOTOR either. At the time it wasn't a game type I was interested in, despite being a lifelong SW fan. In more recent times it always seemed dated, so a remake would be great for me. Even a remaster would be something.
I have KOTOR on my phone.
While I'd like Kotor to get a remake.. I don't trust that it'll be a 1:1 upgrade. They're bound to push garbage in and change too much of the original game.
Personally would love to see KOTOR remake in the style of Divinity Original Sin. Let’s be honest Kotors combat was always trash and suffered massive balancing issues (max flurry ect ect). I would love to see something with more diverse skills and builds, and perhaps making the planets abit bigger and less linear. It could be amazinggg but it needs to be a full remake, not just a graphics update

I love Kotor but I have no faith, they'll fuck it up somehow or add a ton of not-so-microtransactions.
Nier Replicant is absolutely worth trying, they seem to be taking the amazingly unique story and characters the original had and mashing it together with a bunch of the amazing stylings/ gameplay Automata had.
Leaks are always good for the industry as a whole. If you game is good you stand nothing to lose, even if the content leaked is unfinished, people can tell when a game is bugged cause it's unfinished yet and when the game is bugged cause it's made on a 2 decade old engine for a quick cash grab, cough – Bethesda- cough. And if you game is trash (ea/activision/ubisoft generic catch it all garbage) then people will know beforehand not to buy it and thus pushing the industry towards quality content.

On the one hand a Kotor remake would be great, on the other hand I don’t trust EA. Sure they’re supposedly not directly involved, but I can not see EA not sticking their nose in and spoiling it somehow.
A remake means they are tweaking it to fit Disney canon. Which means it will be unrecogniceable. No fan would want that. This isnt good news.

They should do the Crash/Spyro strategy where they remake the originals to see how much interest still exists for the IP

Also, Dreams is extremely underrated.
Was a bad idea giving the game to influencers imo, Its an advance game engine that requires you to have some sort of attention span.
That kind of sky rocket popularity combined with memes = a joke game to a lot of people.

kotor is a really good game however its old af and is not balanced difficulty wise what so ever and so i do not recomend playing it before the remake/remaster
KOTOR is much different from SWTOR – all the video here was of the MMO SWTOR I think… but KOTOR is being re-something'd. I've always thought they could take the 8 unique story lines in SWTOR and make them cool single player experiences with updated look and feel – much like Fallen Order, that would be really cool. 4 good guy story lines and 4 bad guy ones – each with many evil or good decisions within making for 8 absolutely unique and almost 16 variants to play through… a ton of content many people have never seen just sitting there.
"Remake"? no thanks. I rather play the original again than playing some Karen Kennedy "force is female" cr@p.
As someone who thoroughly enjoyed TLOU2 I still feel like it is a shame that Ghost of Tsushima did not win game of the year.
ugh. Why can't they just make an entirely new KOTOR game rather than a remake? I do not want to replay a game I have already played before (twice), regardless of it having updated graphics. Give us a new story and new characters, and just call it KOTOR 3.
About FF7 Remake being in best narrative – the game isn't…a 1:1 remaster of the original game. As you pointed out earlier in the video, it is a reimaginging of the original game with new content and story…

Batllefront II from Pandemic needs a remaster! But it wont happen because its fun, works, is complete, and no micro transactions. Oh and ea owns it now and they buried pandemic years ago.
