Charged shot is hilarious when combined with the fast charge hammer and epic attack speed Hermes boon, you can slap whatever on top and it'll destroy everything.
spear special is so dogshit its depressing. Spear attack isn't great, although the range and speed are nice, and the special is just a slower version, with a miniscule amount extra range
all the other weapons specials are substantially different from their primary attack, usually by adding an aoe effect, but the spear special feels like a worse version of the attack.
if the special did a bunch of damage but didnt return and you had to pick it up it would be more interesting, although would feel too much like a cast
spear is my favorite weapon! i dont understand the hate, i only use Guan Yu and Achilles tho so maybe people are just not thinking of the good aspects

My only problem with charged shot is that for some reason it doesn't get aim assist, which for me at least makes it very awkward to use with a controller. Takes a lot of getting used to.

i feel like the Spear is popular among new players. spear was my favorite weapon at first because it feels so similar to the Brusher's Pike from Bastion, which was my favorite weapon in that game. spear FEELS good, especially in Tartarus, where new players spend the most time, but where it's harder to feel its shortcomings.

The spear definitely feels bad the only aspect I like is hades spear because it forces you to use all of spears features to gain the most out of it compared to just pressing the special button twice and that essentially being a spear run.
I think the variety of enemy's in hades is okay there some that do similar things or look the same especially in Elysium but I feel they did a good job in that no room feels exactly the same as the one before it.
And finally for hades2 we know that the titans were forced into the lowest pits of tartarus. I think we'll be starting in tartarus and making our way down.

On the topic of different biomes, Spelunky 2 cones to mind where you have branching worlds/biomes. It would be cool if each biome still retained its own set of enemies. That would be a cool idea.

Charge shot is one of the most busted hammer esp on Beo(the interaction with Beos mechanic is pretty silly)
