I'd really like to know how the math checks out on hepheatus boons vs other attack and special boons. At common tier the damage per cool down for hepheatus boons seems awful

You know, it’s funny… I know people were complaining about you humming, but I actually found the humming endearing. It told me that you were really honed in to the game’s music, and I liked that.
Meanwhile, you know what I personally find annoying? Your constant callouts of “write it down!” Like, half the time they don’t even make sense, or are completely unnecessary.
But maybe I’m too picky. I’ve watched you content for years, and am grateful for all the great Hades 2 content you’re giving us. Thanks Damp Dad

For the duo boons taking a while to show up: I think you're used to playing with the vow that gets rid of the boons you don't pick, which means after a few encounters with a god, their duos are some of the only options left to offer
I said it in another one of your vids but even for these lower fear runs you should be running the vow that deletes unchosen boons. It makes it WAY easier to force duos and legendaries. It honestly feels like cheating.
I really feel like if you picked an attack boon first chamber and are offered a hammer second chamber, the hammer shouldn’t give all 3 on the special. that’s just super frustrating and also easy to change in a future update
I guess the one thing about Heph that might be too strong is that his boons continue to scale really well past the first couple of poms, all the way until you meet the cap. For the other gods, the scaling tapers off more. Maybe that's what they were talking about in that interview?
I’m not even sure the keepsake leveling system is entirely necessary. This game feels like it has enough upgrades
Honestly, I think that they've drastically reduced the likelihood of duo boons past the first unless you have the arcana active that enhances the likelihood of duo boons showing up.
This boons should go for hit run build, with all the cling clang stuff :v

I've already done this build twice coz i love hephie and his secondary/support boons, and both times i did it on the torches actually (aspect doesnt really matter tbh) because while their attacks do fire fast, it is, as a move, quite irredeemably bad so this build uplifts the torch attack into something quite respectably strong. Like for all other attacks you could go "oh perhaps aphro/apollo/poseidon might be better here" but for the torches, hephie is definitely the best in slot for attack.

I can confirm Volcanic Strike CD: I had heroic Volcanic Strike +4, 3 other pommable boons, still some rerolls and on the next pom i could upgrade those 3 other boons.

Hephaestus is easily my favorite god rn. His shield boon just completely negates the first hit damage vow, making the 32 fear run way more doable.
I managed to get this on a super early run of mine when I basically just unlocked the twin blades. I swapped from poseidon attack to aphro attack then finally to heph attack for heroic. It was a wild run, sadly I wasn't good enough to finish it though.
32:47 Why don’t you do trials to shrink the pool. Even if you can’t get the duo in trials isn’t getting two boons just better? If you were doing a speed run it would make sense but there wasn’t really a good reason not to take it. Idk maybe I’m being dumb.
i played a game with heph, hestia, and demeter in my god pool. afterwards, i saw echo and she gave me a boon from my previous run (which was apollo's Super Nova) and the next time i saw apollo, he gave me the heph/apollo duo boon
