Hades! As a reward for the subscriber that helped me hit a milestone I let him choose the next game I played after Cuisineer. He chose Hades, which I’m absolutely thrilled with. It was one of those games I passed over because the genre isn’t my favorite, but then this game quickly became known as the best example of the genre. An action Rogue-lite where you do a little better each time. And to top it off, there’s a much anticipated sequel coming out soon. With that let’s strike while the brimstone’s hot!
In episodes 9-14 it is my belief that I am almost to the end. I’ve touched the fields of Elysium, so there’s like one more boss and I’m out. This is not the case. There is not just one boss, but four. The minotaur is both really cool and really annoying. I like his attitude, I hate his beating the crap out of me. I’m very conflicted. Theseus on the other hand, I want to replace each square centimeter of him with bullets piece by piece and then when none of the original Theseus remains I will ponder whether or not he’s still Theseus. I do that, and I get to what I believe is the final final boss. Can I beat him today? You’ll find out.
