The trailer is so sick. It makes me hyped for the game to come out and I’ve never even played Hades. Lol. Can’t wait to see you cover more games like this on your channel!
-Melinoe is sometimes considered Hades' daughter which is the route they took here.
-The dagger is most likely an athame while the sickle is both a reference to the moon (there is a strong moon motif in the trailer, as you pointed out, even the fire sfx during the fight form crescents) and to the gathering of ingredients for witchcraft, which will in fact be a gameplay mechanic.
-They did confirm that all the Olympian boons will be returning (probably in new forms) with some additions. Maybe they will be called blessings while curses will be renamed hexes.
-I liked the comparison with Heket which is likely the reference they were making. But there will also be a witch familiar mechanic so that's probably the reason why they insist on it in the trailer.
-Also, Hades had a third child, Makaria, who could be a potential new protagonist for a potential third instalment.
The main antagonist will be Cronus, not Chronos? Hades on the trailer said that he is "time itself," and Chronos is the god of time.
