Lmao, Demeter wants her to marry only royal gods, aka the ones related directly to Zeus, yet when she wants to marry Hades, one of the most powerful gods in all of Greece and Zeus' own elder brother, she refuses
“All she cared about is royal descent.” Yet throws a tantrum and actually fucking lied when Persephone choses one of the Big Three as a husband I cANT with Demeter man
That’s basically Hades is actually the best God of Greek mythology literally. He listens to the souls and passes a fair judgment. Unlike his little brothers Hades actually took his job seriously and tbh actually liked helping souls.
Hades gets a bad name because it’s easier to Picture a God King of the Dead as evil more than it is to picture them as good. Eventually Gods, humans etc get tired of it end can sometimes end up living up to their false representations to purposely pass judgment on others. Hades didn’t do this. He was literally the best damn God of Greek mythology. His brothers went around sleeping with mortals even some of his sisters too. But he on the other hand fell in love with his Queen/Niece the goddess Persephone and she him. She willingly ate the seeds so she can spend her life with the man she loves. Too bad her mother didn’t like it. I am seriously if the mom is gonna be like that then she should think. Hades is the eldest son of Kronos and eldest brother to Zeus and Poseidon, he acts more like a King and does his job regardless of what others may think. There is ultimately no better suitor than him for her Daughter. I mean hell he even defended her mother a bit trying to say she cared… But the mother was so blind she placed herself above her own daughters happiness
Hmm I remember this show taking creative liberties because if I remember one mythos, Persephone was kept from being married, I think it was something about having a “pure” daughter forever or something along those lines
Hades is technically the only Greek guard who has had one level. He has not slept with anybody else. So despite him being the god of the underworld, and despite what people might tell stories of he is by far the best equivalent of a devoted husband
Immediately got so confused when she said “my mother pestering me to marry” cause the point of Winter is that uh no, she very very much didn’t want Persephone married to Anyone Ever
Wait Demeter wanted Persephone to marry in this. Huh that's a subversion as I she wanted her daughter to be a virgin goddess like Hestia, Artemis, and Athena in Mythology.
Aaccording to OSP (overly sarcastic productions, its a great chanel. Look it up) Hades and Persephone are the least if not only down right healthy and respectful relationship in the greek pantheon. Minus a few hick ups here and there. He generally cares for her and she is treated well and actually sticks up to her role as queen of the underworld more than a few times.
Hades is the only god who never had cheated to his wife i don't get it hey this is argue of the one of the goodest greek mythology gods but in most media hey this is evil what the f
Anime?
Hades: …( kidnapping then? )
What is the name of this anime??
As weird and fucked up relationships can be In Greek mythology I do like this portrait of hades and persephone
Hades, working his way through the friend zone. 😂
waman waman waman, no niid no maen
Wonder how Hestia would be narrated in this verse?
This is also why i absolutely LOVE the game Hades
In some versions of mythology, Persephone is the queen of the underworld and owns that role.
Hades subtlety finding out which dudes he needs reap 😂
Name of the show: Blood of the zeus. In hindi: ज़ूज़ का खून।
You are welcome.😂
What was her other name? I thought she had 2 names
Lmao, Demeter wants her to marry only royal gods, aka the ones related directly to Zeus, yet when she wants to marry Hades, one of the most powerful gods in all of Greece and Zeus' own elder brother, she refuses
This is the opposite of the myth where her mother refused to let her marry
Idk much about Greek mythology but I've heard their relationship is the most normal out of all of the others.
“All she cared about is royal descent.” Yet throws a tantrum and actually fucking lied when Persephone choses one of the Big Three as a husband I cANT with Demeter man
Best portrayal of Hades and Persephone
Weird its cannon that Aries while a dick killed a god because he raped another god and everyone defended him for it

If a girl says that last part….your in
The union of life and death always looks so… beautiful and romantic.
I always loved the idea of them having one of the best relationships in Olympus
Hmm I remember this show taking creative liberties because if I remember one mythos, Persephone was kept from being married, I think it was something about having a “pure” daughter forever or something along those lines
Aaaah….so wholesome…
And then came Kratos…
What a cute and romantic interaction between niece and uncle 😂

Honestly Hades was least problematic of the Olympians as far as love goes

Ah yes, one of the only functional relationships in greek mythology
