  1. Lmao, Demeter wants her to marry only royal gods, aka the ones related directly to Zeus, yet when she wants to marry Hades, one of the most powerful gods in all of Greece and Zeus' own elder brother, she refuses

  2. That’s basically Hades is actually the best God of Greek mythology literally. He listens to the souls and passes a fair judgment. Unlike his little brothers Hades actually took his job seriously and tbh actually liked helping souls.

Hades gets a bad name because it’s easier to Picture a God King of the Dead as evil more than it is to picture them as good. Eventually Gods, humans etc get tired of it end can sometimes end up living up to their false representations to purposely pass judgment on others. Hades didn’t do this. He was literally the best damn God of Greek mythology. His brothers went around sleeping with mortals even some of his sisters too. But he on the other hand fell in love with his Queen/Niece the goddess Persephone and she him. She willingly ate the seeds so she can spend her life with the man she loves. Too bad her mother didn’t like it. I am seriously if the mom is gonna be like that then she should think. Hades is the eldest son of Kronos and eldest brother to Zeus and Poseidon, he acts more like a King and does his job regardless of what others may think. There is ultimately no better suitor than him for her Daughter. I mean hell he even defended her mother a bit trying to say she cared… But the mother was so blind she placed herself above her own daughters happiness

  3. Hmm I remember this show taking creative liberties because if I remember one mythos, Persephone was kept from being married, I think it was something about having a “pure” daughter forever or something along those lines

  4. Hades is technically the only Greek guard who has had one level. He has not slept with anybody else. So despite him being the god of the underworld, and despite what people might tell stories of he is by far the best equivalent of a devoted husband

  5. Aaccording to OSP (overly sarcastic productions, its a great chanel. Look it up) Hades and Persephone are the least if not only down right healthy and respectful relationship in the greek pantheon. Minus a few hick ups here and there. He generally cares for her and she is treated well and actually sticks up to her role as queen of the underworld more than a few times.
