  4. I'm so torn right now… i want to watch videos showcasing how it plays and looks so badly, but at the same time i want to see as little as possible until the game is fully released and i get to play it myself.

  10. Soo… Mount Othrys was pretty significant to the Titans in the original Greek myths…

    Okay, really off-the-walls crazy prediction: descending down into the Underworld is only half of the game. Then we get some major plot twist, and it’s revealed we have to scale Mount Othrys to assault the Titan stronghold. (Or maybe Mount Olympus, but I like the idea with Othrys better.)

  16. I find it very peculiar that when Melinoe dies she seemingly doesn't die, but gets "timewarped"? Or does she just carry a Scroll of Town Portal spell to cast upon death?

  24. god i cant wait to play this entire game. i am so intrigued about the storyline even from the little bits we've seen, but i have been able to play the tech test and it just feels so smooth and good. so fun to play. i adore the witch aesthetic, the purple theme, the small callbacks to the first game, and melinoe. it's just hades but BETTER, and that's all i could ever ask from a sequel for a game like hades.

    i had been a little worried that the general fanbase was going to be horrible about the new lead being a girlie and whatnot based on how SOME fanbases react to certain women characters in other games. but, my excitement for this game has increased even more because your community has been AMAZING on twitch. i love how you (respectfully) tell people to shut up about zagreus. i would die for that hot little hell ratboy, but it is mel's time to shine, and i love that you love her just as much as zag. i am new to your community but i can feel the warm atmosphere every time i engage with your content. i love how you just LOVE this game!! you're great & I LOVE HADES !!!!!!!!!!!!

  27. I am ridiculously curious about what those moon circles are on the ground. I was speculating with my wife that if the game had actual moon phases in the game (each run is a 'night'), it would yet another way to mix things up run to run. What would be really crazy is if they were tied to the ACTUAL real-life moon phases so every day you play, it would get you to switch up your strategy, weapons, and stuff.

    What I don't know is how those circles on the ground in some of the rooms play into this system, or if it does at all. Maybe they're just for flavor, but I doubt it.

    Edit – I just saw @14:01 that when you cleared the room, a beam of light hit the moon in the circle. Definitely not decorative. I also noticed the moon symbol above you when the Hex is ready. What if you cast the hex in the moon circle?

  30. It's interesting that we still haven't seen Ares, Athena, or Dionysus return yet. We've also seen Hephaestus, Hestia, and Apollo, but not yet Hera.

    I wonder if they didn't make it in, or if Supergiant still has a few surprises up their sleeve for the early access release.

  31. Re: Hexes, My bet is that the path of stars is your game area progress, meaning, the weaker boons get a plus one the more you progress on your run while the strong boon remains the same. Hence, the path of stars is your way forward/up/down

  36. I am pretty sure the costs or power of the seline boons is affected by the mokn phase. There is a moon phase symbol poping up on mel during combat, its also in some chambers on the floor.

Discovered Haelian back in 2020 with the original Hades, and it became my most played game that year – experimenting with all the builds and saying "Just one more run…" at 2am an all-too-often occurance 😅. Wishing him and all in his community many years more happiness with Hades 2 😁 Death to Chronos!
