Davis is the son of Hades and Persephone, making him the half-brother of Mal. Maleficent didn’t want Mal to be around her father or brother, eager to mold her into a clone of herself. But Mal would often sneak off to spend time with Davis. When Maleficent caught them together, the evil fairy threw a fit, but shut up when Davis stood up to her and told her off, his hair becoming flames while his eyes glowed. After that, Mal spent as much time with Davis as she wanted. The only person who knew about Davis and Hal being half-siblings was their best friend Evie. Ben was very jealous of how close Mal and Davis were since he didn’t know the truth about them until the fairy/demigoddess finally revealed who her father was.
