  1. Hex build is such a weird spot tbh.

At low Fear where you can min max it to extreme it's indeed quite broken without a doubt.

At high Fear it's another story, you basically have no time to invest to it and thus most people just skip Hex altogether.

Basically it has too high ceiling but also too low floor at the same time, base Hex is just too weak until upgrades and at the moment it's in a weird win-more status kinda.

  2. I'm so glad you did this run, I lvoe the hexes. They can get so silly and are so fun to play as you upgrade them.
The things you said about how ridiculous it feels to just be blowing stuff up while totally immune to damage reminds of the run I did with Total Eclipse – getting that one upgraded with both Eminence (immunity till blast hits) and faster charge upgrades is ridiculous.
I was running a high magic cost omega attack on Artemis daggers, so all it took was one of them to recharge the hex to basically full. It all amounted to very brief windows of actually even being able to take damage and was so silly, I didn't even break my Lovers barriers during the last two Guardians.
Can't wait for you to show off more hex builds!

  3. also the keepsake just makes first reward PoS and gives you a shit ton of points on your upgrade which you are always getting at least one offered, Im fairly certain its something crazy like +9 right so you always get purple one upgrade earlier, and you can get blues if you see/take two upgrades

  4. I enjoy a few hexes but I still feel that as a whole, it's worse to start with a hex than a boon or hammer. It feels like a waste. Hex path upgrades are mandatory to make them good, but again, that's a door you have to take instead of another boon or heart or hammer etc. And to spend coins on them is a wasted purchase over a boon, heart etc. In other words, they feel like huge opportunity costs because having them feels like I'm missing out on whatever I could have had instead.

  5. Video idea, a run where you can only take boons of a specific element(fire, earth, water, air, aether). Also your discord link is broken.

I love your videos and would like to thank you for beating 55 fear which is why I found you.
