DEATH TO CHRONOS
I found the most success when I had a killer build that had 6 earth affinity and got the Demeter boon that capped incoming damage at 15 max. It appeared to work on the instadeath attacks on Chronos 2nd Phase.

Charon Aspect with Aprho cast. 22:47 finally did it this evening.
1548 lol. I didn't even know it does that much. I just tanked it because it took so long to cast and I had the 15 dmg limit boon. Perfect opportunity to deal dmg while only taking 1 hit.
On my end, I LOVE Lim and Oros, the sheer DPS that it can do with boons like Hestia's attack with Demeter's cast, I literally CHUNK through bosses. Tho in that case, Artemis' ability to crit when foes are in the cast was incredible peak.
Has anyone run into tony yet?!
I've started to consistently beat the game with like 3 weapons now, so I'll just say that the arcana where
1. Enemies in cast take more damage (furies)
2. Privileged status (origination)
3. Omega cast having more power (moon)
4. Either the Huntress (when you're missing mana normal attack/special do more damage) or Death (5% crit on omega moves)
Are CRUCIAL to not feel like you're gently massaging enemies in floor 3 and beyond, like boiling blood and privileged status/olympian favor were nice bonuses in hades 1 but you could live without them (and BB didn't apply to statuses and casts) but it is almost a requirement for Hades 2. Like imo the TOP priority should be titan, eternity, the above four cards, and then everything else.
For Furies, you almost have to go for a boon that ensures your cast gets fired instead of just placed at your feet (either zeus, hestia, or a hades buff) and for Origination, the easiest way to do it is Hestia on cast and Hera on either your attack or special (whichever is important).
I finally slayed Chronos with the umbral flames with aspect of Eos. The boon from Poseidon that diminishes the damage by priming some Magick is quite useful I'd say

I was offered an infusion boon for 4 water, when I only had 3. Anyone know if that supposed to happen? I didnt take it because it was later in the run and I didnt know if I'd have the opportunity to get a 4th.
Got my first win today too! Do not sleep on Scorch guys, I had a REALLY speedy build but the top damage was Hestia

my first clea r was also the axe and just sub 30 minutes, seeing I managed to go faster than such a good player as Haelian is neat, at least the once

Yo Haelian. You should check out V rising. its combat is something you could get into and could be a good palette cleanser from Hades if you get burnt out. They released the 1.0 and its VERY good.
The music messing up is a cute bug. I found a bug yesterday that caused my dash to stop working in the middle of a boss fight. Suffice to say I didn't love long after that… I think it might have been from the hex that transforms you, so maybe avoid that one.
Hi, so yesterday I finally beat Chronos with the sisters blades aspect of Pan. Guys give it a try, it is similar to the bow of Charon. 1,5k damage on each special attack.
Best way I've found to reliably apply P Status is to use Demeter. Her cast freezes and she has another boon that makes the cast have a swirling whirlwind. Those apply a different status ( cold?) So if you get both then your cast will always apply it
I found success running aphro attack with the increased channel speed hammer and just spinning, if you get the other hammer that lets you attack normally you can just dash while spinning to get the extra I frames. Things like the Artemis boon that dashing powers up your omega moves and any of the boons that charge your magic passively go hard
For me, I would like to see some cast builds with stuff.
You can absolutely get another hammer from echo. Its great

Fun fact: even in rooms like that one towards the end of this run where there were a lot of enemies, it runs at perfect 90 FPS on Steam Deck OLED without a single drop. So I’d assume you don’t need a very powerful PC for it to run well. The game’s optimized absolutely flawlessly.
