This is why you never target Theseus first in Hades. #Shorts

  1. I always tend to take care of Theseus first. Not because I think it's easier, but because it feels like it would be in character for Zag. Like, "Okay, now that he's out of the way, Asterius and I can have a proper duel."

  2. I target theseus when using zeus’ shield or another aoe weapon bc asterius kind of just runs into the attacks and they both die pretty fast with a decent artemis build

  3. I actually find it easier to get rid of Theseus first, as he has the annoying skills that are harder to dodge when trying to beat and dodge Asterius. But thats just me.

  4. Don't worry with enough time doing it over and over to get to Hades cus all the bosses are now plebs the minotaur becomes so easy to dodge you barely think about him. He has a much more repetitive attack sequence than the champ. There's a reason he holds the title and not the bull. From zag's pov we think it's arrogance and ego but he really is better. Tho enough time fighting Theseus will make him easy to dodge as well. You pick up on patterns in animations and movement as well as audio to be able to predict them.

  5. I find it easier to take care of Theseus first, he's annoying to deal with his ranged attacks, hard to get hits on with his shield, and him calling on the Gods to help is also pretty annoying, I'd rather take care of him than deal with getting sniped by his spear while fighting Asterius. I feel "take out the ranged attacker first" is always a good tactic, sure Asterius does have ranged stuff, but at least he's not annoying to fight, hence why he's a miniboss room instead of Theseus.

  6. oh, I always go for Theseus first so I can stay the hell away from Asterius for as long as possible. HOWEVER, that's because I always equip the Thanatos summon, and use that to kill Theseus before he can call on another god for assistance.

  7. I used to take Theseus first, then I realized I can break Asterius first half first, while he's immune I take Theseus down, when he's immune I take Asterius down a notch while calling for Than and then just wait for Than to nule them both at the same time.
Much easier for my style of play.

  8. Depends on the boons and other stuff you have, I usually use death defy instead of stubborn defy (chamber based rather than full escape attempt based) and always make sure to go to Patroclus not only cause I read the song of Achilles and I want to give that man a hug but also to get more defiances if I need to, and it’s always more effective with centaur hearts and the gift from Cerberus, so I usually try to hit both but I go for Minotaur first usually cause it’s more difficult to dodge his attacks for some reason even though he’s like super weak (almost as much as Theseus) but never use the cosmic egg or switch off of it unless you’re stupid like me and want to get the achievement that I keep dying before I get because I thought it would be better to simply use the egg to get out of about 20 health being wasted on the primordial b- who now is making me regret the decision heavily cause I had some really good boon runs that I’ll never be able to have again because I died

  9. I always Target Theseus, because Astereus runs to you (whereas Thesues runs away from you) so targeting Theseus is how you get them both with AOE damage.

Plus he drops his shield long enough for you to kill him while he's doing the first god flurry.
