  1. 0:26 is that the damn, first darkest dungeon on the very right I see in the rogue-like section? Ooooooh I am so mad right now! How many times do I have to teach you this lesson, people?! Darkest. Dungeon. Is not. A rogue-like!
It's literally a campaign game where all previous runs affect the next one! I can allow rogue-LITE, as the dungeon missions are mostly completely random generated, but everything regarding stress, quirks, levels, trinkets and characters is progressing further.
The game's uncompromising gameplay is meant to shove consequences of your actions down your throat for being even slightly overconfident.
    TL;DR
Darkest dungeon 1 does not belong in the section of rogue-likes, because it doesn't meet the aspects defining this genre. People that tagged it on Steam like this are stupid.

  2. I have a sneaking suspicion that Skooch just straight up got more than 24 hours per day. Ain't no way he could invest that much time into all those Roguelikes (obligatory Badjur quote: "Drink five 5-hour energy drinks and unlock the forbidden hour of the day")

  3. Kind of tired by how many roguelikes are just copying Hades instead of doing what Hades did in the first place by being DIFFERENT. So many pretenders to the crown that just look bad by drawing comparisons. Especially when Hades 2 is currently in Early Access and goddam incredible.

  4. the first problem with this game, not many bosses. I need they make all full knights of the round table, and when we meet king arthur, he shoud have 12 phases, no joke. I have high hope for this game

  5. I'd recommend trying out "Lynked: Banner of the Spark"
It's a rogue-lite base building. You can play with friends as well (Max of 3 players)
It's fun and a refreshing take on the mixed genre.
