Heartthrobs are just too good. Work with nearly every build and does a good percentage of the damage without any additional boons. Also, love the content as per usual.
About the whole echoing hammers thing, you can echo a hammer if you take it last in room 1 and then your miniboss gets onioned by the onion vow, since echo doesnāt count onions as an eligible reward.
Hepth's method of doing, strike once and let the reverberation deals the rest.
Now do a Wolf Howl build with Heph dash and Heph/Aphro duo ( optional ) and the purple upgrade that makes it so that the dash build affects the Hex. Got it without trying and it'sstupidly good.

Whats the difference between volcanic strike and H blasts in mod meter
Here's a build to turn the game into a bullet hell:
Torches on Aspect of Eos
Hammers: Triple Comet (most important by far), Rising Coil
Also good hammers if you can't get those: Triple Helix, Clean Helix, Clean Candle
Boons: Hera attack to apply hitch with the daybreaker
Spiteful Strength for the specials (probably hereditary bane for the prereq, but dying wish or rousing reception could work too)
Any heph boon for the prereq (mint condition is probably the best, but any work)
Any cast/sprint that activates origination (apollo, aphro, demeter, hestia – with apollo, super nova + furies is more damage)
Any magic regen (born gain is the obvious choice)
Nimble limbs and/or nimble mind
As much flourish and revelation from chaos as possible
Just throw out the daybreaker and spam triple comet for a ton of projectiles that deal a bunch of damage with spiteful strength. With rising coil, bigger projectiles are just funnier, and every other upgrade is either to increase damage or frequency of the special.
Ah, i never got around to suggesting the Charon version (Volcanic Flourish, Posiedon duo for a ding on the omega cast, Hestia Duo to double both dings, and if you're lucky also the Apollo duo to embiggen them even further).
Escape sequences: both Ori games!
Escape sequences: Every level in Wario Land 4 has an escape sequence, with the level design being built around it. The same goes for Pizza Tower, its more recent spiritual successor.
I really dislike the Heartthrob meta š It feels even worse than Born Gain meta before the nerfs. It feels like it ruins the things I'm excited to see like Heph builds or the Support Fire vid. I not saying people can't play like this or enjoy it, just sharing my opinion and I understand and apologize if it's not welcome
I think Hearthrobs are the biggest thing on the chopping block for nerfs. They tend to overshadow everything else in the game when present. I don't think any of the aspects need to be nerfed, as only the ones mentioned really feel as powerful as the Hades I aspects. Instead, there are many that I think need to be buffed.

– Chain Reaction – Double damage from blasts
– Any other Hestia core boon – Origination bonus damage
Extras:
– Perfect Image – Always have increased blast damage until hit
– Mint Condition – Clears room quickly and pairs well with Perfect Image
– Controlled Burn – Extra damage from spamming Ī© Special
– Any Aphrodite core boon – Unlock Love Handles (duo)
– Heartbreaker – Unlock Sunny Disposition (duo)
– Any Special Daedalus upgrades – More damage / faster specials
What is this mod actually recording? If you watch the blasts the game reports compared to what the mod records, its way off. Is it only tracking actual damage dealt rather than tallying up numbers reported to the player, i guess?
Either way, looked like a ton of fun. Nice to see heph get some love

Ori and the Blind Forest / Ori and the Will of the Wisps (or whatever it is called) has some cool escape sequences.
Are you by chance trying to install the "Multiple Room Rewards" mod? I might know something about it, since I helped building it.
Don't think they need to nerf anything. Doesn't hurt anybody. Just buff the things that are underperforming if possible
I'd usually take concave stone when im trying to get a lot of boons from the same god, even more in the case of Heph, who has a lot of helpful ones

I believe that there will likely be a cap on the amount of Heartthrob in 1.0, possibly around 3 or 6, and the damage scaled down. It's extremely powerful and universal at the moment.
Also, I think there might be a change with Mel and Artemis Daggers since they serve the same purpose (Omega Attack backstab build), and idk… maybe some changes for Circe? I mean, Serenity buff is good but Momus outshines every staff by miles.
They shouldn't nerf the performance of the most powerful aspects. They need to figure out what makes them fun and powerful and conceptually match all of the other aspects to those.
This is a single-player game. Nerfing shit in a single-player game doesn't make sense unless it actually undermines your vision for the game or something.

Right at the end when you didn't get the normal zeus boon, I'm pretty sure boons in tartarus can only be from minibosses or trials, so if you see a non-boss boon like that I think(?) its guaranteed to be a fountain room. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
