I've been watching you play for a long time and poo-pooing the Lightning Rod all the while picking up the blood crystals instantly when they drop and preventing them from doing their thing. Lightning Rod has been a go-to in my builds for years! But you have to LEAVE THEM ON THE FLOOR.

If I'm going for lightning rod, it's probably the only time I'm using infernal soul. Most of the time I prefer stygian soul just because of the convenience. It works betters with crystal beam.
Just yesterday my girlfriend soloed Theseus with only the Rod while she focused on Asterius I was howling in laughter

Lightning rod is actually a very good support boon when you are not using a cast build, specially if you have jolted and double strike from Zeus, maybe even the legendary
Does lightning rod count as Cast damage? Does Poseidon sword affect the damage number from rod?
I just realized this; when bosses die they die like zagreus, falling into a blood pool. Does this mean they respawn at the house of hades? Why don't the shade talk about lernie or heroes emerging from the blood pool at all?

i feel like with dio or ares cast, rod is just really awkward. Gotta be able to put it where you need it
Why Eris over Poseidon? Artemis has boons that grant burst damage when ejecting spell stones as well, you can have the sword dash strike then get rodding sooner after with the Poseidon eject right?
If you have it with multiple Zeus boons, vengeful mood, sea storm, or pressure points, it's pretty good, but other than that, it's a fairly ordinary duo boon.
LIFE affirmation doesn’t affect DEATH’S gift? If you think of it that way, it makes perfect sense.
