  1. Go find your woodsy goddess sounds like something someone says at the climax of a rom-com when the MC has to chase after their girl, before she gets on a mode of transportation to leave town forever.

  2. Huh, apparently Ephyra was an old name for the Ancient Greek city state of Corinth (and thus the modern city of Corinth). Named once for a nymph, before later being named for Corinthos. Didn't know that.

Funny that Eris focuses on nectar being made of golden apples. She kicked off the Trojan War using a golden apple.

tbh, Odysseus probably would have snuck a peak. He generally has good respect for the gods, but he did also tie himself to the mast of his ship so he could listen to the sirens without driving into the rocks, so he's definitely got a history of being too curious for his own good.

  3. You can check the path of stars in your boon menu when you hover over the hex and press the button prompt for "Info"
Great run today, looking forward to the surface!

  4. "One foe is always weak" means that even if you kill the weak foe, another will become weak, so there will always be one around. I think that forces it to be Chronos, if you have it in the fight with him.

  5. Yay!!! I've been waiting for this episode. You're the only one whose LP of Hades 2 I'm watching (can't olay myself atm), but I have been listening to the absolute fire that is the OST and there are bangers that I didn't hear in the LP yet, so they are a part of a surface area. Looking forward to the full release. Love your vids as always

  6. I have to say, the tiny vermin is much more bearable in this game compared to the first.
Maybe it’s the absence of poison that makes the difference?
Anyway I screamed when I saw him, he was my worst nightmare while searching for a satyr sack. "Uh oh" is such an appropriate name lol

  7. Welonz LPs open new knowledge for me: that hex and sprint can be useful lol Personally I find them both to be pretty weak overall and it really question of luck (which kind of hex and sprint you'll receive in partucular run), than strategy. I like to rely on the attack and power it up by Hefest boons + hammer boons. Plus gods keepsakes are really useful if you already know which kind of attacks/specials they provide, so you can build your strategy properly since the beginning (getting useful attack/special to clear the areas faster and effective). But I watch Welonz for her strategy, and not to yell "hey, you doing things not like I would have done in my playthroughs!" lol I like the feeling of discovery in LP, often Welonz pleasantly surprises with using things I've thought useless in my runs lol

PS: Familiars make life so much easier! Bathing with handsome people make life so much hornier! I can't wait for Welonz meeting one character on the surface which threatens my passion to Lord Morose that I desperately torn between two humble and melancholic guys… I want to marry both of them lmao

  8. Arachne used to be a human seamstress that was exceptionally talented. Athena, disguised as a human, challenged her to a weaving battle which Arachne won, which pissed Athena off, making her turn Arachne into a spider. Arachne means spider in Greek and this myth explains how spiders came to be.

  9. Don't know if anyone mentionied it already but your keepsake (Selene's) said, it was already expired for the night. So you were right about changing to the one from Narcissus 🙂

  10. Offensive keepsakes actually save life, take for example the Nemesis one with 25% extra dmg to Chronos: it means you kill him 25% faster and therefore take 25% less dmg from him (on average).
So if Chronos hit you for 340 that keepsake is saving you 80 life on average.

  11. 1:15:59 Echo often offers this option to duplicate your last reward, so it's usually a good idea to leave the thing you'd want to get more of as the last thing you pick in each room from the Fields, just in case you see her.
