story time: i saw the casting news seconds after they published it and in the first version of the instagram post they used a different picture of timothy. i didn't recognise him, so i checked him up, only to realise he played GOD FREAKING JOHNSON in lucifer. then they changed the picture to the current, more popular one, so it was more obvious hahah
i don't know jay duplass, he looks very kind and polite though, so i'm very interested what will his hades be like!
I love it when we get casting updates, partly because we get new additions to the already amazing cast, and partly because I know there will be yet another unclaimed demigod update, which I absolutely love!!
Honestly I'm super excited for the show and was a bit shocked when I googled and found out it isn't to be released until 2024, I mean why do they have to make us wait for so long? However I really support Rick's casting choices and am extremely excited to see them in action!!! Also since Im already writing this comment I just wanted to say that I really like your Videos and the "casual/lazy" style which I don't mean as a bad thing but in comparison to the majority of the Youtube-channels you really come over as authentic which honestly few do! So keep it up and I wish you the very best!
Perhaps Hephaestus is seen lying in wait at the Thrill Ride of Love since it was created as a trap.
It kind of feels like they should be switched. The one playing hephaestus looks more like he should play hades…maybe that's just me 🤷 But either way i still think the cast is great!

Honestly think Timothy has that certain darkness about him (thinking when he played Cain on supernatural) that would’ve been good for Hades. I’m sure he’s gonna be a great Hephaestus tho! When I saw the thumbnail I for sure was like “they got Omudson for Hades???”
2:30 he said that some wouldn't show up yet, but i think he didn't say that hephaestus wouldn't show up, he'll probably show up as a mini cameo when percy goes to olympus. And movies and series are not recorded in chronological order, they can start recording the beginning of the series but soon after they record the end, and the beginning afterwards, there is no defined order
I think they are doing the God/Godess casting cuz there just less drama. A safe way to hype the show and make people intersted. We don't need all the hate on the child actor so it is best leave those alone til the show start. People are just so attach to them that whoever play them will get some form of hate. I am prety sure the major god will be last (Apollo, poseidon, Athena -Did they cast her??? Don't remember but I don't think so)
