That's a well-protected box!
Looks like a pretty cool boxset, although I'm not really familiar with their stuff. Ps How many albums do you folks buy every month, on average?
π€£…WOW.Livin the Dream.!!!…Tangerine Dream .Never Gets Old β₯οΈ Good Good MUSIC.
Nice box set. Thanks for sharing, enjoy. Cheers from New Zealand ππ
I loove your dress β€οΈβ€οΈ
I had tickets for San Diego show I was fourteen 1974 I was able to get 2nd row center. And then they canceled due to lack of sales. Dang it! I was able to see the later line ups but this area is some of the best stuff. The first three Edgar Froese lp are great as well! I love the cover of the box set. I can remember the smell of those albums. LOL
Anyhoo
My first ever gig. Tangerine Dream Sheffield City Hall October 1975
Tangerine Dream is a favorite of mine especially the early stuff. The soundtrack to Legend is wonderful and the song with Jon Anderson, great. Looks like a great box set, I would love to hear the Steven Wilson remixes I didn't know about.
Cool hippie dress Niamh!
Tangerine Dream are awesome! I only have 'Machu Picchu' at the moment so very much enjoyed seeing this box set π
Excellent box set, but you really need the companion box covering the second half of their Virgin output.
Pilots of Purple Twilight: The Virgin Recordings 1980 β 1983
I'm jealous. Enjoy
Although I don't own this set, I should probably get it. I have all the albums contained in the set. I was surprised to see Steven Wilson do some remixes here. This is actually the first of 2 sets containing the Virgin Records releases. The second set is called "Pilots of Purple Twilight" which has the rest of the Virgin albums, 1980-1983. It's too bad they didn't include the soundtrack to Sorcerer(one of their best albums!) on this, no doubt due to it being released on MCA Records
Cool ! Watch out for Tangerine RSD release of Reims concerts on stained glass picture disks<3
Great box set. There is a purple coloured second box but I didn't bother getting it as the best T Dream stuff is on that red one.
Glad I was a teenager in the 70's and got to buy Tangerine Dream albums on vinyl at the time. I have some on cd's as well today but it's those early albums that for me are the classics. Lovely box set to own for sure, but I must agree with Niamh. I prefer proper album covers rather than a bunch of clip in's that usually don't last holding the cd's. Enjoy the music. I bet the Steven Wilson mixes are going to be amazing.
Ricochet, Rubycon, Stratosfear, Encore – just the mid-1970s stuff….thatΒ΄s all you need, really.
In Search Of Shangrila….is my fave unknown prog electronica album
πππ excellent!
Bonus! NICE! Great band. Looks like a nice box set. Not quite as fancy as some of the other ones. Still a nice addition to be sure. A nice Tuesday surprise. Good to see you two. See you again soon. π€ππ€
Love a bit of TD.ππ¬π§π€
Love your discussion on Pete Pardo's channel. Keep on goin'!
I have Phaedra and Cyclone. Just brilliant. I played Bent Cold Sidewalk on a difficult episode of Paradise Overground on Mixcloud. Along with Wagner, Sunn o))) and John Adams. Real toe tappers you might say.
The prog team. Father and daughter. π
Interesting that your Dad saves the stickers…..I thought it was just me lol
Great box set, I will try to get it. I know some of tangerine dream. Great video as usual, and your dad is great person and he is very nice. Congratulationsπππππ
