► Hades 1.0 Full Release Story Synopsis

Hades is a god-like rogue-like dungeon crawler that combines the best aspects of Supergiant’s critically acclaimed titles, including the fast-paced action of Bastion, the rich atmosphere and depth of Transistor, and the character-driven storytelling of Pyre.

As the immortal Prince of the Underworld, you’ll wield the powers and mythic weapons of Olympus to break free from the clutches of the god of the dead himself, while growing stronger and unraveling more of the story with each unique escape attempt.

  1. I loved this Dusa scene so much! It’s so cute.

This was a fun run; definitely a lot of really weird tension between your short-ranged cast and self-harming special!

  2. For future references, the most effective way to use this aspect of the rail is basically reload – shoot – dash – repeat.

You’ve emptied your chamber pretty much every time, and that’s… yeah, not effective.

  3. Boon replacement is offered very rarely, so it is better to not take the boon which you don't want. If you are stuck with some unwanted boon you should try to sell it rather that trying to get a replacement.
Also if you want to try pierced butterfly sometime, try it the next time you play hestia. Avoiding damage is the easiest with hestia, you can just stand far away and keep shooting those powered shots.

  4. First off, kudos on defeating the game with an annoying set of conditions in place. Second off, I would actually recommend you force an Artemis run at some point. She's got the last legendary and a few fun sundry unlocks that you haven't encountered yet.

  6. I just found you after starting playing Hades now for about 14 hours and have to say I am still doing catch-up on the old parts + I want to progress myself in the story so I have experienced it and so that I then can see your reactions. But I thought I comment on this part since it recently released and I want wish you good luck in your runs and thanks for the cool content. (I have yet to meet any of the characters in Elysium, since I probably die just in the rooms just before meeting them.)

  7. Since you asked, Nyx's children:
    Aether, god of Air.
    Hemera, goddess of Day.
The Oneiroi, 1000 assorted sons who were gods of Dreams.
The Keres, 1000 assorted daughters who were goddesses of Violent and Cruel Deaths.
The Fates (Moirai); named Atropos, Clotho, and Lachesis.
The Hesperides; usually, but not always, three goddesses of Evening and Sunset. Sometimes incorrectly called daughters of Atlas.
    Hypnos, god of Sleep.
Thanatos, god of Death (generally non-violent death).
    Geras, god of Old Age.
Momus, god of Ridicule and Scorn. Driven from Olympus for making fun of the gods. Seriously.
    Morus, god of Doom.
Eris, goddess of Strife and Discord.
    Nemesis, goddess of Retribution.
Apate, goddess of Deception and Fraud.
Oizys, goddess of Misery and Suffering.
Philotes, goddess of Friendship and Affection.
    Eleos, goddess of Compassion.
    Sophrosyne, goddess of Moderation.
    Epiphron, god of Prudence.
    Hybris, goddess of Insolence.

Several other gods are attribued to Nyx, but also to other parents. Interestingly, this includes The Furies (Erinyes) who are said to have been born from The Earth Goddess Gaia and the blood of Ouranos, The Sky God.
There are also many, many demons who are assumed to be Nyx's children, but that's mostly just because she was a "dark" goddess.

  8. I know you started this game ages ago, but you wondered about certain mythology-related things, so I put some explanations in some of the older videos, and will continue to do so from time to time in case anyone else would like to know such things. Hope it helps add to the experience.. lol!
