  1. You can put your Bible books in order by using the linage chart in Matthew chapter 1. If we look, we have Abraham-David 14 generations David-Captivity 14 generations and Captivity-Jesus 14 generations (490 years in 14 generations) And we can look in the timeline of David-Captivity you can use Matthew chapter 1 Like take the book of Amos 1:1 in the days of Uzziah or Isaiah 1:1 in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah in the KJV it's a little tricky for they spell the names different (Matthew 1:8-9) like Ozias is Uzziah, Ozias is Greek for Uzziah you can check these names and more in 1Chronicles chapter 3. Now you can put the books in a time frame when they took place, most books tell you in the first few chapters when it took place. I don't have all books in place yet, put you can see that Amos, Hosea, Isaiah, Micah, Zephaniah, Jeremiah, Baruch, and Judith took place just before Captivity as Ezekiel and Daniel was written in captivity. you can use the book of Daniel to help put books in order as well for we know Daniel lived into the first year of Cyrus. So, you have Nebuchadnezzar, then Belteshazzar, then Darius, and Cyrus and you can see Ezar took place in the first year of Cyrus and Haggai took place in the second year of Darius Just like you can see 1 Maccabees Alexander struck Darius. In 1889 they removed books from the KJV said they were written in-between 1st and 2nd Testament, not true. So, we have Matthew Chapter 1, and 1Chronicles chapter 3 and the book of Daniel to helps us put things in a time frame of when they happened God bless, I hope this helps with your studies
