I played Gauntlet: Legends on the 64 when I was a kid, loved that game.
I've been loving Hades 2! 22 attempts and I still haven't beaten it yet, much harder than the first at least for me (I miss the instant double dashes)

Appsro calling the pomegranates "Bomb fruit" cracked me up because hes kind of right. In many languages, they are basically named grenade apple.
The first one isn't about killing Hades, its about escaping the Underworld and finding your mother. Yes, he's the endboss of every run, but when you beat him, he just goes back to the House of Hades (his personal estate in the Underworld) and you have a little chat with your mother, progressing the story, before you "die", because your body cant survive for long outside the underworld and also go back to the House of Hades.
