  1. Also I'm agreeing with you. Herkuleas's logic is he's not gona bea God just for one girl. Not he's family and he's two frinds. Literally just one girl. (also yes later it would be a small series of him before he got so buff and found he's love, maiking new friends along the way. But as I said he did have nothing but that one girl on he's mind. Wich is something Disney relly shouldn't teach kids

  2. I love Hades in this movie but he’s even better in mythology. Probably the only decent of the Gods actually(save the whole kidnapping thing)—loyal to his wife, fair and often just kinda wants to do his own thing. The only time you see him get scary is when someone messes with his wife.
And actually those words Zeus uses when making Pegasus are the three types of clouds

  3. On one hand, the portrayal of the Gods and their relationships is EXTREMELY watered down from the original mythology.

On the other hand, James Woods as Hades is too much fun to watch to complain!

  4. Let me list you the Main Olympian Gods:
Zeus (King of the Gods), Hera (Queen of the Gods), Poseidon (God of the Sea), Athena (Goddess of Wisdom and War strategy), Ares (God of War), Aphrodite (Goddess of Love), Hephaestus (God of Craftsmanship), Hermes (Messenger of the Gods), Artemis (Goddess of the Hunt and the Wild), Demeter (Goddess of Harvest), Apollo (God of the Sun and poetry), Dionysus (God of Wine), Hestia (Goddess of the Hearth) and Hades (God of the Underworld.)

  5. It only JUST occured to me how awful Meg being used to twist Herc's arm was. And not JUST because she cares for him.
She gave up her soul to save her BF, who dropped her at the turn of his head.
But she is literally being put on the OTHER side of that situation! SHE is the one betraying someone who gave up his strength (and implied life) to save her! THAT is hell!

  6. – Hades is the best villain.
    – Meg is a Queen!
    – What i like most is that Hercules let others build a BIG house for his (adoptive) parents.
    – You didnt really like their love story, which is okay. But i LOVE it xD

  7. Going the distance, both the film version and the Michael bolton version he did for the film/music promotion video

is one of the greatest song’s I’ve ever heard.

The “merchandise” scene always kills me

and I also always loved that line

“A true hero is not measured by the size of his strength, but by the size of his heart”

This is i think an underrated classic, because it’s a bit more pop song oriented then the other Disney golden age films
