Hi! My name is Christopher Odd, and Iโ€™ve been playing video games online for a few years. I really enjoy a variety of games but generally lean towards games with a unique and engaging story (Bioshock, The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us, etc), strategy/roguelike games (XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, Darkest Dungeon, etc.), and RPGs (Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Dragon Age, etc). Of course, I am always looking for great indie games, too!

  1. Definitely shouldn't burn yourself out on the game at this point. I've also slowed down now and will get back on it, when the next big content patch hits. Also not that it's necessary, but you had to defeat Hades 10 times in the first game to get the actual ending and I imagine there'll be something similar with this one when it's out of Early Access, plus there's both the depths and surface to go through, so even more of a reason to perhaps let Melinoe rest for a bit.

  2. There's still a couple encounters and characters you haven't seen on the surface yet.

But overall, you're definitely getting to the point where you'll have to pick your own goals for what engages you, if anything. Challenges for challenge sake, grinding out the relationships and upgrades, etc..

Not the worst thing to lower the pace and maybe do a couple runs when patches drop.
