  1. i thought abrahams bosom/paradise are in the same realm as sheol/hades and the abyss, are they not separated by a great gulf of all the dead?, whereas heaven is in a different realm from the dead and earth. because heaven is a place of the living and most holy god, not the dead. to be absent in the body is to be present with the lord.
for edit: hades is the temporary hell, the torment of sins, where as the actual hell is the lake of fire, eternal damnation

  2. Love the use of scripture to make your point!!! It sounds in line with the Word, but I'll have to dig deeper into the scriptures to be sure I fully agree with the summary. My instinct is to think you nailed it. Place for the people of Christ, and a waiting place for the rest, that then eventually becomes their permanent place of eternal separation from God where they will be torment with gnashing of teeth (as scripture puts it).

  3. Praise God 🙏…
    Thanks for your teaching..
many preachers tell paradise is a waiting room for belivers who are dead till the day of judgement
So after judgement day they will be moved to heaven or hell depending on their deeds…

  4. This is not even close to correct… You all usually do a good job, but miss this one terribly! Abraham's bosom was a parable.. Not reflecting a true place or heaven.. A horrible interuptation.. Sheol is the grave.. Not hell!! Souls are not immortal, this is Greek mythology along with Hades, the god of the underworld.. Gehanna was a physical place in the time of Christ

  5. You have much good information on your website, but on this and other topics you are way off. I could give you many verses to show there is NOT an eternal place of torment for unbelievers, who were all created by God, and thus His children. Would you torment your own children forever for a wrong they have done or if they didn't have faith in you as their parent? NO! So why would God do it? Don't say "because He is righteous". It is "because He is righteous" that He won't do it. Use some common sense here.
The translation for Hell, Hades, and Sheol is simply "the grave or place of the dead". The place where everyone, including believers, goes to before the resurrection at the Second Coming. Please intently study your Bible and God will show you the truth.

  6. Jews don't believe in an eternal hell. They believe in a place of purging of sins before you move on to Heaven. Sounds a lot like Purgatory, funny there is very little discussion of this clear departure from Christianity.
