One of the best games ever made. Responsive snappy mechanics, engaging story, deep skill system, great art and music. And designed so you eventually "win" regardless of your skill level. A breath of fresh air after so much "modern AAA" junk.
Wow, you are becoming my favorite reviewer. I bought and tried this after reading all the reviews praising it. It ultimately fell flat for me because of all the things you mentioned here. I uninstalled and let it sit for a long time. Then reinstalled, and tried again thinking I must have missed something, but realized it was just repetitive, boring and frustrating. Then uninstalled again. Thanks for another great review.
I Tried it cuz of all the hype and i didn't enjoy it either, i hate when you keep going back to the beginning everytime you die, i don't find it challenging, i find it just super super annoying, ended up dropping it after an hour or so… not for me!
It's not simply rpg, it's souls-like rpg. It's a permadeath game, repetitive like majority of permadeath games. These aren't "boring" they just require time to achieve something just the same as majority if not ALL rpg games. You do the same thing over and over in all rpg games but in new terrain and with different textures and dialogue.
If you hated every game you played why keep buying them?
When's the next live Stream? The gaming gamer should stop gaming games on his gamer gaming game laptop and just do more streams

I didn't like this game, I dropped it after 2 hours.
