Thanks to you guys.
I just subscribed and am learning from Greek mythology
They took away the first introduction of hephaestus and pandora…
You guys skipped out the first meeting with Hefistus
You might as well play god of war 3 because itโs half of the video
Btw. Athena, when she appears as a green ghost, is theorized to not be her, but a 5th dimensional being trying to control Kratos.
Her remains are in coffin she died by kratos but gods ask him to so the sun god could live and atlas titan dont destroy world
They skipped first encounter with hepestus ๐ he talked about kratos daughter and also interaction with pandora when he got blade of Olympus back
Souls are wondering lost since Hades is death so now people may encounter random ghost that will hurt them or whatever imagine seeing ghost of your dead family randomly
Kratos does not care about anyone thats why he is the greatest protagonist of all time he aint fake
15:10 sheโs absolutely right and that plays a major role in his character arc in the last two games especially in GoW Ragnarok when u guys get to it.
Fun fact- Hephaestus's Roman name was Vulcan, which is of course the name Gene Roddenberry used for Spock's home planet in Star Trek.
In "classic" Greek mythology, Hephaestus was one of 3 children Zeus and Hera actually had together (Ares being another, as well as the minor goddess Hebe). When he was born, Hera was so embarrassed at how ugly a baby he was she threw him off Mount Olympus, and the fall crippled him. So, an ugly, crippled god that was essentially isolated to the underworld like Milton in "Office Space"- but gods and heroes alike revered him for his smithing abilities (because of their connection with the earth, he presumably was able to employ some Titans in his workshop who bore no ill will towards the Olympians anymore). Plus he had Aphrodite as a wife- so he did something right, eh?
Persephone was always in the underworld since she was the wife of Hades. Persephone was basically tricked by Hades into being trapped in the underworld and she was kinda forced to marry him. This is why Persephone wanted to tear down Olympus as revenge by freeing the titan Atlas and by using Kratos in the Chains of Olympus game.
Also if you noticed…once a god dies, a disaster usually follows that is related to the recently deceased godโs domain of power.
When Ares died, his body exploded in what is almost similar to a nuclear bomb explotion.
When Poseidon died, the oceans flooded the land so much that in other areas, the water level rose high enough to cover mountains.
When Hades died, dead souls became free from the underworld and begins to wander the earth aimlessly.
When Athena died, her body created an explotion of white light but the consequences were unknown.
There are still more death of the gods and its coresponding disaster coming for you to see, so i wont spoil it further…
Hades is my favorite boss because he just straight up fights u unlike the other
ZOOOSSSS
5:42 Athena: "As we speak, the war for Olympus rages on and Mankind suffers."
Kratos: "*Let* them suffer."
Full-on villain protagonist, at least by this point. Kratos had a lot to make up for in the later games.
This was our childhood… ๐๐๐… Nowadays kids are with fortnite apex the colorful things… back in the day we were ripping heads and eyes of the gods and monsters๐๐๐…..
The mankind are suffering let them suffer he donโt give a demn ๐
You haven't seen nothing yet.
Did yall get to see or able to get the sword of Olympis
After this game you guys have to play mortal kombat, i would definitely start with mk9.
The wife is smart…. she is unknowingly calling out the story in GOW2018
Pandora's box didn't just have hope. Much like the origional myth. She was given the box and told not to look inside it under any circumstances. Being a child tho. She couldn't resist and opened her box. All the evils known to mankind where held inside and were unleashed on the human world. It was after releasing evil into the world. That pandora found hope, and re opened the box to release it into the world
In the gow universe, we do not know what happens to God's when they die. Athena appears to be an exception in "ascending". Also Kratos goal is ironic considering his war with the gods began with him killing his family. Now he kills the gods, who are also his family.
