This was so fun to watch live! I haven't been that excited watching a Hades run in ages. I love that the community is still finding ways to make this game new and exciting, even after all this time.

45:55 It's funny. I normally would agree with Haelian that the Arty dash is stupid. However, with how much he dash strikes during this run, it may actually have made a big difference to his dps. He genuinely makes better use of it while blindfolded than I normally would playing normally.

Hello Haelian,
I am very excited to see such a video from you! I followed you with interest for a while, but never felt brave enough to leave a comment or join the stream, I certainly am not too much of a hades professional. The thing is, now I gathered enough courage and decided to post this since I play hades too, and I am blind. I do not really wanted to publicly announce this, I am not even a content creator 🙂 and I believe that sometimes a disability can be an impairment because people tend to be judgmental, but I just wanted to say thank you for inspiring me too, for teaching me a few new build options. I always wanted to chat with someone from the hades comunity and show the world at large that hades is so close to being accessible that it is just unfairr the final steps have not been implemented, and that yes, with patience, it is doable. If you will see this comment, or anyone interested, really, there are two videos on my channel I uploaded for a friend of mine some time ago. They are from a modded save so I can show various gameplay elements and some of the story. I have completed the game two times now, one time with go mode, and one time without, and this was the third time I finished the game. I use some mods so I can hold my own against the underworld. A mod which shows me the next door rewards in a menu and drops me right at it. A no trap/no lava mod, since traps do not make any audible sounds as to know their location and lava is too wide to safely play through, and various other utilities which make the game text clearer for my screen reader (an application which reads everything displayed on screen for me through my headphones) to OCR correctly, meaning it captures the text from the image and converts it to text I can read through.

What is insane is while, YES, dan did get some lucky pulls… Each time he was going for a boon he was (mostly) making an educated guess for where the best boons for that offering could be. the amount of skill and game knowledge to actually be able to USE the lucky pulls is bonkers! You sir are a maniac. well fucking done.

I didnt realize there were so many sound effects in the game. You could tell the difference of so many things from sound alone… Like the raft, the trove, the items in the shop and etc.. SGG did an exceptional job…
