Yeah he definitely fits the bill of a Prince more. One trend among the two official Bards Gamzee and Cronus is that both don't go out of their way to be antagonistic in a charming way but they're just a fucking blight in a way that just barely seeps past unbearable enough to make people want to outright kill them normally.

btw, sometimes i noticed weird distortions in the voiceover, like it were sped up in few moments. it was a little bit distracting and made it harder to understand but that might just be me
While there's some danger in literally interpreting the classpect titles, there's also danger in seeing them as a restrictive descriptor. A lot of the reasons for Zag to be a Bard boil down to "He's not a terrible person" which seems an awfully narrow way to interpret Prince-hood. I'd argue that Zagreus is a depiction of a healthy kind of Prince in the Sburb system (in ways our other two HS-canonical princes are not). He's still an active character who took his fate into his own hands. The fact that he's generally courteous and respectful to almost everyone who isn't his dad (or Theseus 😀 ) seems more a reflection of Blood than anything else.

oh about other creates of culture i have little problem in what classpect bring some characters from manga berserk for guts rage/doom/time prince/knight, griffith doom/hope lord/prince

Its also a coincidence, but he does have weird colored blood by God standards, because of his lineage, his mom, persephone, is half mortal, her mother being demeter and her father being an unnamed human, its an interesting coincidence

Sorry this question isn't exactly on topic, but I have a question about the HSE series.
What's your take on the sylladexes? As I understand it they exist outside of SBURB and are intrinsic to Homestuck (the narrative medium) itself, yet it's unclear as to how it exists in-universe and how it interacts.
Additionally, the sylladexes occasionally hint at motivation or sentience (for example, when the Chastity Modus chooses to destroy the Matriorb). We know that we can consider SBURB as sentient, but the sylladexes are not a part of SBURB. So does this mean that Homestuck itself, the story, is sentient, or at least motivated / possessing agency?
I'd like to hear your thoughts on this, I haven't watched your entire HSE series yet but I've checked the video descriptions and I don't think you go into depth on the inventory system
I love how you accept that Zag could be both a Prince AND a caring person. So many people assume that Princes are inherently dangerous and violent, so this take was very refreshing.

At first I thought Hades aspect is time since that deals with death and finality, but really he seems to be more associated with Space given is obsessive management of the underworld and his distant relationship with pretty much everyone

These kinds of videos are REALLY good. Taking the classpect system and using it for other media is always awesome since it gives you a new outlook on your favorite characters
Definitely insightful look into his character. That’s definitely what I like about HS classpects, they make for great frames to analyze a characters actions. Its interesting to say he’s more of a bard because his destruction comes at the service of others, cause it clearly does- as a god of blood, life, and most likely rebirth, he unfortunately doesn’t get to see those things through for others outside the underworld. And yet he still goes through and makes changes to things anyway. I’m just sad that means he’d have to wear that outfit

Some of the aspects' descriptions from the extended zodiac seems to have some kind of connections to the troll dancestors

Okay, as someone who only has a passing glance knowledge of homestuck, one concept I know was not explored is the possibility of fusing classpects to create new classes. Zagreus in this game plays the part of both fairy and royal of blood under the active self rather than the passive other. He has the fairy immortality trait through a river of blood and does create relationships with others before he destroys their corrupted bonds, oftentimes against their wishes.

I am glad that I am not the only one who think Zagreus look like a hot anime Karkat.
The way Blood is talked about in Hades' text, I'd be surprised if at least one of the writers wasn't a Homestuck nerd themselves.
Personally I think that Zag's relationship with Blood is one much more of Changing than of Destroying, so I see him as an Heir, but your point about his destruction of contracts is definitely one I hadn't considered and is a pretty good piece of evidence! I've seen him as an Heir of Blood throughout my playthrough of the game so by now it'll be hard for me to change my perception of him but this Classpect analysis is on-point as it always is from you!
I also see his parents as pretty clearly a Lord of Doom and a Muse of Life, but if anyone has analyses about them or of other characters I'd LOVE to hear it.
